Justin Timberlake is recalling an encounter he had with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce that caused his "life to flash before his eyes."

The 'Bye Bye Bye' singer appeared on 'The Tonight Show' where he and Jimmy Fallon took a trip down memory lane and discussed a previous golf tournament the two participated in alongside Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Timberlake went on to explain how the forcible chest bump from Kelce made him tumble to the ground after Fallon made a spectacular golf shot.

When talking about the golf tournament the two participated in with the Chiefs' players, Fallon recalled when he "hit that bunker shot."

"I'm playing like I normally play, let's just say that," indicating the nighttime talk show host is not a professional golfer by any means. He then goes on to set the scene, telling the audience, "I'm in the bunker, and Justin says 'you gotta hit it up, you gotta land it' to which Jimmy said, 'I know, I know'."

Fallon then reveals he and the 'Cry Me A River' singer were playing against Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes -- two all-star athletes.

The singer and the 'Tonight Show' host then stood up and began demonstrating how the miraculous play went down. The producers then aired a clip of the mind-blowing golf play as Fallon somehow made the ball into the hole.

In the video, Kelce, Mahomes, Timberlake, and Fallon are all heard screaming after the talk show host made the shot. The video also shows Timberlake running around in circles on the golf course as he could not contain his excitement.

While remembering the hilarious moment, Fallon recalled, “Travis lifted me up in the air. Even the other team was rooting for me. That’s how bad I am.”

After watching the clip, Justin Timberlake asked the producers to "go back" and re-air the clip as he explained, “I haven’t run that fast since.”

"Does that video keep going because Travis Kelce almost -- I saw my life flash before my eyes," the 'SexyBack' singer said, laughing. "He went up and did one of those, you know where they jump, and I'm like he's doing it, I have to do it and I forgot he weighs 80 pounds more than me."

The clip then ran again, which showed the moment Kelce ran up to Timberlake and knocked him down with his chest bump. "While that may not look like much, my neck [hurt] for like a week," the singer stated.

Travis Kelce and Justin Timberlake remain good friends, as during a recent press conference, Travis said the most famous person in his phone is the 'Bye Bye Bye' singer.

"We text," Timberlake told Fallon, adding, "I don't wanna bother him [though]. He's busy right now, he's in the zone." Timberlake was, of course, referring to Kelce's prep for the upcoming AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The playoff game will air on Sunday, January 28 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
