The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, were recently spotted attending the grand premiere of the Bob Marley biopic in Jamaica.

Harry and Meghan looked gorgeous and elegant as they posed on the red carpet for photos with various dignitaries present at the event. This included the Jamaican prime minister, Andrew Holness, who has been described as anti-monarchy for his stance on Jamaica cutting ties with the British monarchy.

Now the royal couple is being accused of "trolling" the royal family by choosing to take photos with Holness, especially during a period of King Charles's and Kate Middleton's health challenges.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Slammed For Trolling The Royal Family

According to royal commentators Andrew Pierce and Sarah Vine, Harry and Meghan "trolled" the royal family with their surprise appearance at the Bob Marley biopic in Jamaica.

The duo took to their YouTube show to address Harry and Meghan's "hobnobbing" around known anti-monarchist Jamaican PM Andrew Holness during the week when the King is expected to undergo a medical procedure to treat his "enlarged prostate."

On the couple's photos Holness, Pierce said, "In the very week the King is going into hospital… he is there consorting, hobnobbing with one of the most overtly republican prime ministers in the Caribbean. Somebody who also wanted to break up the Commonwealth, which was so precious to the Queen. They are tone deaf."

Vine then claimed, "They are deliberately trolling the Royal Family. Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles are in hospital, and they have not said anything."

She continued, "Normally, they are keen for everyone to know how much they care about people, and they have not said anything. I think their game plan is going to be self-hating Royals. They are going to be, 'We are part of the Royal Family, but we hate it.'"

Harry and Meghan's surprise appearance at the premier shocked many, mainly due to reports that claimed Meghan could not make it to her husband's Living Legend of Aviation award ceremony, which happened shortly before the trip to Jamaica, due to her tending to an "unwell" child.

Fan comments about the couple's attendance were split, with some praising the pair while others found the outing questionable.

The Sussexes' trip to Jamaica came shortly after it was alleged that they had sent their "best wishes" to King Charles and the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, amid their current health challenges.

A source told The Mirror, "The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health. The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes."

A former Royal press secretary, Dick Arbiter, also spoke to the news outlet about his opinion on Harry and Meghan's message of support to the King and Princess Kate.

Arbiter said, "It's good they've recognized his sister-in-law has gone in for what is obviously serious surgery, and his father is going in to have surgery at 75. It's the right thing to do to acknowledge it. I'm pleased for Catherine and the King."

He further noted that it's "unusual and unprecedented" for two senior royals to be hospitalized simultaneously. However, January would be the best time because it's not a busy month in the Royal calendar.

While speaking on a possible reconciliation between Harry and Meghan and the Royal family, Arbiter said, "Don't hold your breath." He added, "The Queen would always have wanted the relationship rebuilt, but she wasn't going to see it in her lifetime. There were too many other things going on."
