Stephen A. Smith is continuing to defend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance after Howard Stern made some comments regarding the couple.

As you know, the pop icon began dating the NFL star last summer. The two decided to go public months later during a September Kansas City Chiefs game -- a game in which Taylor shocked the world as she was seen sitting next to Donna Kelce, Travis's mom.

The two have seemingly been on a good path ever since, as they continue to grow their relationship and spend as much time together as possible.

Of course, this can be a challenge when you are arguably the biggest star in the world and are dating one of the biggest sports players in the world -- however, Taylor continues to show up at Travis's games when she can, and the two are often spotted on date nights out on the town, or they are spending more intimate moments together while at Travis's mansion.

As expected, the two are one of the hottest topics as of late, with some NFL fans bashing the pop icon for taking over the sports world. One analyst, however, has Taylor and Travis's back -- Stephen A. Smith.

Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith is still on the Travis-Taylor hype train as he continues to defend the couple amid the continued backlash. His support comes after Howard Stern claimed that if Travis Kelce wants to continue his fame, he "has to marry" the 'Love Story' singer. Stephen A., however, disagrees.

“He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, he’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion,” the sports analyst said of Travis Kelce. “He’s universally recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of football.”

But that's not all because Stephen A. Smith says Travis's good looks have helped him grow his popularity. “He is a good-looking dude, got style, got flair," he continued, adding, "He’s got skills. He’s got a future in [the media] once he retires from football [...] he's the total package.”

Of course, he couldn't comment on Travis's looks without mentioning Taylor Swift's, admitting, “Taylor Swift is a good-looking woman, she is an incredible artist — I went to her concert with my daughters."

This is not the first time Stephen A. Smith has come to defend the couple as last year, the sports analyst stated “[Taylor] could do a lot worse, too. Travis Kelce is a good brother man. I love me some Travis Kelce.”

“That’s his business. I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t ask those questions, but Travis Kelce is good people," he said of the rumors circulating at the time. "That’s my brother from another mother. That’s a good man and anything that makes Travis Kelce happy, I am a supporter.”

Plus, just a few weeks ago, when Taylor was being blamed for the Kansas City Chiefs losing, Stephen A. Smith told everyone to back off as she is just "going to support her dude."

In the past, Taylor admitted that she is unaware of when she is on camera during the NFL games, and she is just there to support her boyfriend. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and p—ing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads,” she told TIME Magazine of the backlash she’s received thus far.

As the hate continued, Stephen A. Smith spoke out to "come to the defense of Taylor Swift," as he stated, "Everybody’s sitting up there and acting like she’s some kind of impediment.”

The sports analyst then added, “Excuse me, she did her job! That Eras Tour? Off the chain. Generated billions. She’s going to support her dude. To show up at a football game and the cameras are on her — that ain’t her fault!”

“And excuse me, by the way, she went to the games after the concerts,” he said, still backing up the pop icon. “It’s not like she used the games to bump up the concerts.”

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs this weekend, and it is expected that Taylor Swift will be in attendance.
