A new video is surfacing showing the incident between Chris Young and a Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officer at a Nashville bar that occurred Monday night.

As you may know, the country music singer, who is known for hit singles such as 'Famous Friends' and 'I'm Comin' Over', was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault of an officer on Monday evening after an incident unfolded between TABC and Young inside a Tennessee bar.

It all began after the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission walked into the bar Chris Young was visiting to perform a compliance check. The TABC officers were walking around and checking IDs, which is when the country music singer held up his ID over his head for the TABC agents to inspect, per arrest documents.

The arrest report also states that TABC took Young’s ID, checked it with their ID app, and returned it to Young.

However, the incident began to get out of hand after the 38-year-old singer reportedly began to follow TABC and question the agents.

It is unclear what Young was asking TABC, but the arrest report states that Young began recording the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents and followed them to a different bar, where the officers were set to perform another compliance check.

The country music singer reportedly tried to stop TABC from leaving the bar, which is when the officers physically detained him and placed him into handcuffs.

According to arrest documents, "two agents had to physically detain Young and placed him in handcuffs. As agents tried to leave the bar with Young, multiple people who were with Young reportedly started following them and ‘making the incident hostile’," per WKYN.

The affidavit also states Young’s eyes were bloodshot and watery, and he was slurring his speech.

In the clip, Young can be seen casually standing in the bar before he reaches out and places his arm in front of the TABC agent. From the video, it looks as though the country music singer was trying to get his attention and stop him for an unknown reason, and that is when the TABC pushes Young aggressively and another agent takes him to the ground.

The arrest report states that Young “put his hands out to stop [an officer] from leaving the bar and struck [them] on the shoulder." The report also states that the TABC agent pushed the 38-year-old country artist “to create distance,” but Young began “yelling and screaming."

“Another agent tried to talk to Young, who reportedly began walking backward and not complying with the agents' orders,” their report stated.
