Cori continued, "I started working out, drinking lots of water. So now I think my body's like, okay, this is the new program, and she's getting used to it," explaining that she made the transition after her longtime use of medications made her "feel like I was going insane."

In her words: "I've had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself. I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I'm only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold Turkey."

Despite making progress with her holistic treatment, Cori explained that she needed to adopt more lifestyle changes to boost her health. "It's continuously a learning process because there’s so much more I could be doing," she noted.

Stage 3 was a better option than stage 4, which meant Cori would require chemotherapy. Nonetheless, doctors considered putting her on Benlysta, a treatment option administered through a monthly shot or weekly injection.

The television personality noted that doctors treated her "aggressively" over her safety because her kidneys were once on stage 4. She also stated that her current stage was reversible and insisted her kidneys were okay despite being "inflamed."
