And Babies Make 7! 'Teen Mom' Alum Kailyn Lowry's Twins Are Here!

Kailyn Lowry is a mom of seven now! The "Teen Mom" alum recently welcomed numbers six and seven to the family; her sixth boy and first girl, and she's sharing all the details with her fans!

Lowry shared the news of her twins arrival and their birthday story during the latest episode of her "Barely Famous" podcast.

Lowry, 31, and her partner Elijah Scott, welcomed their twins about six weeks ago. Although they didn't share the twins' birthday or names just yet, they did say they were born five weeks early and said they were six weeks old when they filmed the podcast.

Their son was born first at 11:36 p.m. and their daughter shortly after at 11:40 p.m.

Scott joined Lowry on the podcast episode to share their C-section and NICU story with listeners. This was Lowry's first C-section, which was needed because her son was breech, and she shared that she was scared going into the operating room. The first thing Lowry said when going into the operating room was, "I don't like this," and started to cry.

Lowry shared that she had a rough time after receiving medication and began to throw up. At this point, Scott wasn't in the room with her because they wouldn't let him in while she was getting prepped for her C-section.

"I thought I was having a hard time breathing. I was very concerned about if I was breathing or not," she shared. "You can't feel yourself throwing up. It's such a weird phenomenon to throw up and not be able to feel any of it."

She said she didn't even feel any "tugging, pushing, or pulling" as they were taking the twins out.

After the babies were born, she doesn't remember too much of what was going on. She was able to go nose-to-nose with her son briefly before he was put on oxygen and taken to the NICU. When her daughter was born shortly after, she didn't get the chance to do nose-to-nose, but she did see her before she was taken to the NICU.

The next time Lowry and Scott saw their babies was in the NICU in incubators.

Lowry's twins join son Isaac, 14, with ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 10, with ex Javi Marroquin, sons Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with ex Chris Lopez and son Rio, 14 months, who she shares with Scott.

During a recent episode of her podcast, Lowry shared that this chapter of motherhood is "closing as far as baby-making."

"The chapter of motherhood will be closing as far as baby-making, but I'm excited for my kids," she said. "Now I feel like our family is complete. I won't have anything missing. I won't feel like, 'What if we had another one?' I'm excited to explore this motherhood journey in terms of privacy and putting out what I want to put out. I'm excited for that."

During the podcast announcing the twins' arrival, she confirmed that she did in fact have a tubal ligation.

"So I got a tubal, they cut my tubes out," she said on the podcast. "When I was signing the paperwork for the tubes, they were like you could have, they went over all the side effect, and in the side effects they include regret. I was like, oh, seven kids, I would never regret this. I would be lying if I said I didn't have thoughts, very quick glimmer of thoughts."

She then said she doesn't regret it because, "seven kids is crazy."

"I feel done," she said. "I don't regret it. But also, if I did not get my tubes taken out and got pregnant again, it would not, like it wouldn't have upset me. But I'm like done, we're done."
