Is 'Teen Mom' Alum Kailyn Lowry Finally Going To Welcome A Girl After Five Boys?

As Kailyn Lowry gets ready to find out the gender of her twins, she feels she has a sign that she should start thinking pink this time around.

The "Teen Mom" alum, pregnant with babies six and seven, said a recent trip to the nail salon gave her a sign that maybe she's finally going to welcome a girl into the family that's male-dominant. Mom to five boys ranging in age from a couple of months old to 13, Lowry is hoping to add one or two girls to the mix.

In a recently shared TikTok video, Lowry explains that she was going to get bloodwork to find out one or both of the baby's genders. She explained that it hasn't "fully sunk in yet" that she's pregnant with twins.

"My grandma told me when I was pregnant with Isaac as a teenager, she's like, babies are born like this isn't just gonna go away. It's not like the problem is the pregnancy, and then it just goes away," she said in the video while in the car. "Babies are born, and like, not that this is a problem at this point, just like it hasn't fully sunk in that I'm going to have two babies from this."

The reality star then explained why she feels like babies six and seven could be girls. She thinks she was given a "sign" pointing in that direction.

"I went to a new nail place today, and I'm just sitting there talking to the girl next to me and the lady who's doing her nails, and she's saying how she has twin girls," she continued. "And I'm thinking to myself, like, maybe this is a sign that mine are girls, and like, what are the odds that I tried a new nail place and she has twin girls, not only twins but twin girls."

While Lowry concluded her video by explaining that she should have the results of the blood test in just one day, she hasn't shared any information on social media just yet. She also explained that she wasn't sure if she would just open the results to find out right away or do a gender reveal. But it does seem that she's leaning toward just finding out as soon as the results are available since there are two babies.

Lowry's TikTok video has received more than 3.6 million views and has thousands of comments. Many of her followers are excited to know if babies six and seven will be girls.

"TEENAGE ME NEEDS TO KNOW IMMEDIATELY bestie. I’ve been invested in your entire life since we were both 16," one person wrote. Another added, "If they're twin girls they will be so loved and protected by their brothers."

During a tell-all conversation about her family on her "Barely Famous" podcast, Lowry revealed that she's done have babies after the twins arrive.

"I'm excited to get my tubes cut out. Because I said this last time and I found out I was pregnant and I couldn't," she said. "No more pregnancies, no more pregnancies, no more surprise pregnancies, unplanned pregnancies, pregnancy, surrogacy, none of it. It's all done."

Lowry feels like her family is now complete, and she won't feel the need to ask, "What if we had another one?"

"I'm excited to explore this motherhood journey in terms of privacy and putting out what I want to put out," she said. "I'm excited for that."

Lowry is mom to baby Rio with boyfriend Elijah Scott, who is also father to the twins, Creed, 3, and Lux, 6, with ex Chris Lopez, Lincoln, 9, with ex Javi Marroquin, and Isaac, 13, with ex Jo Rivera.
