Kelly Osbourne Calls Herself A 'Self-Righteous C—' Over Viral Latino Comment

The former "Fashion Police" host addressed her controversial statement about Latinos in a new interview published on Thursday. Her infamous moment, which continues to trend on social media to date, had Osbourne view her past self differently.

When asked who she saw in the video, the TV personality acknowledged her past self was too eager to share her opinions on a sensitive subject. She noted her delivery had been problematic, saying:

"Oh, a self-righteous little c— I hate it. I hate it so much because I look at it, and I'm like, 'You think you know everything, and you know nothing. Nobody wants to hear [your] opinion on this.'"

"I feel very strongly that Latin American culture is the backbone of America. I believe that Latin Americans are the hardest-working people you will ever meet. And their connection to family and their culture is closer to mine than the American way," she explained in her interview with Rolling Stone, adding:

"I've never tried to be American. I never wanted to be a part of a country where there's so much hate, and there's so much misinformation and kick them when they're down mentality."

As for how fans are recreating the viral moment with their slightly controversial takes on stereotypes, the mother of one couldn't be happier about their creativity. She said: "It's the most cringe moment of my entire life. But to see people be creative with it does put a smile on my face. It turns something so ugly into something funny."

As stated, Osbourne was severely criticized in 2015 when she appeared as a guest host on "The View" to discuss Trump's comments about immigration. While rebuking the former president's stance, she declared:

"If you kick every Latino out of this country. Then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?"

After her words sparked shocked reactions from the other hosts, she tried to fix her mistake, stressing that she "didn't mean it like that." However, many called her out for being racist, forcing the entertainer to address the backlash on social media.

In her statement, Osbourne acknowledged her "poor choice of words" but clarified: "I will not apologize for being racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted(ly) f—ked up today. I don't want to bulls—t anyone with lame excuses."

Last September, Kelly cleared the air about her relationship with plastic surgery. While her mother, Sharon, has gone under the knife, the entertainer claimed she had never embraced cosmetic procedures to achieve her sculpted face.

The purple-haired beauty became embroiled in plastic surgery rumors after undergoing a gastric sleeve procedure in 2018 to achieve her toned new figure. Alongside her weight loss, Kelly's face became more defined, a blessing fans suspected was achieved through cosmetic surgery.

"I've never had any procedure like plastic surgery. There are things that I want to do when I get older, but I'm too scared, aren't I?" the 39-year-old declared in a joint interview with her mother, who added: "Oh, she's a coward! A wuss!"

While she was not interested in plastic surgery, the TV personality confessed to getting a popular cosmetic treatment. "I've done Botox, that's it," Kelly admitted, adding that her facial features were a natural blessing. In her words:

"It's weird because now that I've lost weight, everybody is criticizing and trying to figure out what I've done, and I just lost weight. It's just the shape of my face!"

"And everyone knows that I had weight loss surgery, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made," Kelly continued. "But there's this whole thing about it, 'well, you didn't do it the right way.' There is no right way."
