In Wednesday's episode, Stracke raised questions about Umansky's actions, noting his absence from a celebration of life held by his wife for her lifelong best friend, Lorene Shea, who passed away by suicide in May 2022. "Where was Mo?" Stracke wondered loudly when Richards visited her in the days after the event was held. In response, Richards explained:

"He was in Mexico City. He was in Aspen and then Mexico City. He went to Aspen and then flew on his friend's plane to Mexico City."

However, as she pointed out, Umansky would return in time for an event organized by Dorit Kemsley for the Homeless Not Toothless charity. Stracke's thoughts on her friend's explanation came in the form of a confessional. In it, the "RHOBH" star said:

"I'm not accepting the excuse Mo is giving. Unless you're in the hospital or dead in a ditch, you show up for your wife and your wife's dead best friend's family."

Later in the episode, Stracke expressed her frustration further, stating, "Alright, Mauricio, you can come to the Homeless Not Toothless event, but you can't come to the celebration of life event for your wife? That's messed up."

During the car ride to the charity event, Umansky inquired about how Richards' gathering went. She shared her hope that people would enjoy themselves and pay tribute to Shea while addressing the critical topic of mental health.

Trying to find reassurance about his absence from the occasion, the 53-year-old asked if none of the other husbands attended. While true, Richards expressed a bit of disappointment in a confessional that he was not present.

"Would it have meant something to me if all of a sudden, he showed up at the event for Lorene? Of course it would have. He was close with her also," the television personality shared, as video footage depicted her providing comfort to one of Shea's family members at the event who inquired about her husband's presence.

Kyle Richards' Tributes In Honor Of Her Beloved Friend

Richards previously made headlines after she posted a series of throwback pictures on her Instagram, featuring herself and Shea from childhood to adulthood. One notable snapshot captured the duo in their teen years, sitting with their knees clutched to their chests, both smiling at the camera.

In yet another snap, the BFFs wore matching hats and handbags. The ninth image captured them having a good time, with Richards nibbling on her drink in a shimmering long-sleeve outfit adorned with diamond accessories. Shea, in a small green strap ensemble, smiled sweetly. In the last slide, they posed happily with a mutual friend.

The Blast noted that the accompanying caption showcased the "Father Knows Best: Home for Christmas" star's love and longing for her dear friend. It read:

"One year without you & not a day goes by where I don't think of you and wish I could call you to share, to listen, to laugh … the best friend a girl could ask for. Love and miss you so much, Lorene ❤️."

Three months later, Richards honored her best friend on what would have been her 54th birthday. Given their lifelong friendship since childhood, she took a nostalgic journey down memory lane, sharing intimate pictures of them.

The socialite uploaded a slideshow featuring various snapshots through the years. The heartwarming ten-frame post focused on the enduring fun they had together.

In the caption, Richards typed, "Happy heavenly birthday Lorene ? So grateful for all the years we had together. I miss you every day ?."
