Todd Chrisley's potential prison transfer has raised concerns for the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pensacola inmate.

Despite expressing dissatisfaction with his current living conditions in prison, the reality star's concerns extend beyond potential retaliation to the impact a transfer might have on his family, particularly his daughter Savannah, who regularly visits him.

Todd Chrisley's Possible Prison Relocation Has Him Worried About Retaliation From Guards & Officials

As speculation about a potential transfer grows, Todd's attorney, Jay Surgent, has expressed concerns about the potential backlash that his client may face, especially considering his outspoken criticism of the conditions at FPC Pensacola.

The "Chrisley Knows Best" star's grievances focus on issues such as the quality of food, the possible presence of mold, and plumbing problems in prison.

Even though Todd's attorney has not received any formal notice about the move, he speculates that if his client were to leave Florida, it is anticipated he would stay within the federal system rather than being transferred to a state prison, contrary to suggestions made by Savannah.

Todd is keen on staying in Pensacola, considering his family dynamics — Savannah's regular visits to him and her mother, Julie, who is incarcerated in Kentucky. Todd is also concerned that a move too far away could hinder Savannah's ability to visit him.

According to Jay, Todd has taken on a mentoring role for other inmates in Pensacola, which aligns with Todd's belief, shared a few months ago, that he was sent to prison by God to assist fellow inmates.

While the Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson did not comment on individual transfers, they did explain to TMZ that reassignments may occur for reasons such as medical needs or security concerns.

As for his allegations, The Blast reported last December that Todd claimed that there were rats/squirrels in the prison's food storage area and described an incident where a dead cat fell from the ceiling onto their food. He asserted that the meals contain black mold and are over a year past their expiration date.

With allegations of rodent infestation, he characterized the food as appalling, distasteful, and unhealthy. The assertions did not go unnoticed by the FBOP, who promptly responded by vehemently maintaining that their facilities provided safe and humane conditions.

They emphasized stringent regulations in their kitchen to meet the nutritional needs of all inmates by offering "healthy, nutritionally sound, and appetizing meals." The prison representatives also dismissed allegations of black mold and expired food, emphasizing that meals past expiration dates are promptly discarded.

Accredited by the American Correctional Association, FBOP institutions — including FPC Pensacola — adhere to regulations covering various aspects, yet the Chrisley family constantly criticizes them for allegedly falling short of standards.

While the prison expressed support for inmates airing grievances, they insisted on following formal procedures, disapproving of Todd's public statements instead of utilizing the established Administrative Remedy Program.

Backing up her father, Savannah took a stand against prison officials, claiming that the patriarch faced repercussions for exposing what he perceived as "inhumane prison conditions."

The television personality garnered attention by criticizing the prison warden in an Instagram post, alleging that Todd's potential transfer to another facility for an interview was motivated by accusations of him "inciting a riot" and being a threat to "institutional Safety."

During one interview, Savannah affirmed the gravity of her father's situation at the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp, stating:

"The retaliation is real. It is heartbreaking for me to watch as his daughter, but they have even gone to the extent of stating that they will try to ship him to a state facility because our federal institutions cannot guarantee his safety."

The 26-year-old then clarified that individuals within the prison were providing her with information about her father's situation and the FBOP. Stressing that these disclosures "should scare the warden and the BOP," she shed light on concerns about the conditions her father faced.

"The BOP has called me a liar numerous times, but I have all the information to back it up. And these letters, I mean, I even have recordings of them speaking about shipping my father," Savannah declared.

Per her sources, prison heads could not ship her father off to another facility unless they found him in "violation" of their rules. However, they were allegedly planning a nefarious scheme to get Todd thrown out to achieve their goals. Savannah said:

"So I've heard they're going to the extent of planting cell phones, drugs, going through his lockers so that they can send him to a facility and truly behind bars."
