Travis & Jason Kelce Troll Simone Biles And Husband Jonathan Owens

NFL stars Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce had some fun on their podcast, playfully trolling Olympian Simone Biles and her relationship with Green Bay Packers player Jonathan Owens.

Biles and Owens got married last year after dating for three years. As you know, the couple are both stellar athletes, as Biles is an Olympic gymnast while Owens is a professional football player.

In fact, Owens and the Packers made it into the NFL playoffs, and have advanced to the divisional round after beating the Dallas Cowboys.

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs also made the playoffs, and made it to the divisional round, beating the Miami Dolphins.

However, Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles did not advance past the wild-card round of the playoffs and have been eliminated from Super Bowl contention.

The Kelce brothers host a podcast where every week they talk about family life, football, and other hot topics. On the latest episode, the two discussed Simone Biles and Johnathan Owens, whom Jason referred to as her "boyfriend" and not her husband.

One of the topics the Kelce brothers talked about on their podcast was the Athlete of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards nominations -- which Travis is up for.

“Look at the company the Big Yeti is in. Coco Gauff. LeBron James,” Jason said, referencing to his brother's competition for the award.

Jason continued reading off a list of names when he realized Simone Biles was nominated. “How is Simone Biles on this … but her boyfriend isn’t?” he joked.

“Owens?” Travis replied, referring to Biles' husband who plays for the Green Bay Packers. “He’s played some good ball over there, I guess,” Travis joked, hinting that Owens has not done enough this season to land on the 2024 People’s Choice Awards Athlete of the Year nominations list.

Owens and the Packers did make it to the playoffs and past the wild-card round. The team will take on the San Francisco 49ers in the next round, which will take place this weekend.

Travis's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is also up for multiple nominations at the 2024 People's Choice Awards. 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' is nominated for Movie of the Year and Concert Tour of the Year, and she is nominated for Female Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, and Social Celebrity of the Year.

Other big-name celebrities that have been nominated include Beyoncé, Ryan Gosling, Olivia Rodrigo, Adam Sandler, Pedro Pascal, Margot Robbie, Sydney Sweeney, Timothée Chalamet, Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Jennifer Aniston.

Voting for the 2024 People's Choice Awards is now open. The awards show will air on Sunday, February 18 at 8 p.m. ET.
