Former NFL player Michael Vick is being sued by his former talent agency claiming the football star still owes them over $100,000.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Vick is being sued in Los Angeles County Courts for an amount he owes from a case in Georgia.

As you know, this is not the first time the former Philadelphia Eagles player was in trouble with the law, in 2007, he served time in prison for his involvement in an illegal dog-fighting ring.

The filing, known as a "sister-state judgment' is a way for a company to collect from Michael Vick, specifically owing the talent agency over $130,000.

He was put on a monthly payment plan, which stated that Vick would pay $25,000 each month beginning on September 27, 2021, and then the amount would drop to $1,000 each month beginning on October 27, 2022, until the total sum was paid, the documents state.

Obviously, they are alleging he has either failed to keep up with his monthly payments, or they want to make sure he continues to pay if he lives in Los Angeles.

Michael Vick's Troubling Past With Dog Fighting

As you may know, in 2007, Vick was arrested for his involvement in illegal dog fighting. Police were investigating drug activity relating to Michael Vick's cousin, but when they raided a property owned by the NFL star, they found an illegal dog fighting cage in addition to several injured animals.

Vick initially denied any connection to the dog fighting ring but eventually admitted to killing the dogs himself. "I did it all," he reportedly told the police. "I did everything. If you need me to say more, I'll say more."

Last year, the former NFL star addressed the legal trouble he faced, admitting he wished he had a father figure, or somebody, to warn him about dog fighting.

“I wish I had a father figure or somebody in my life — and I did, too, for the most part — but not to the point where somebody was like, ‘Yo, man, you can really screw all this up,’” Vick told former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill on his podcast, 'It Needed To Be Said', at the time.

“Ain’t nobody came and said, ‘Bro, you can screw all this up.’ One person [did], I won’t say his name.”

Michael Vick served 18 months in jail before he was transferred to home confinement. He had thought the Atlanta Falcons would wait on him to serve his prison time, however, the team moved on when they drafted Matt Ryan third overall in 2008.

"The whole time like I was gone, I thought they was gonna wait on me, but that was wishful thinking," Vick explained. "I really thought like they was gonna wait for me to get back, and all this would be over, and then I step back in, be the starter, and we just move on like nothing ever happened. But that’s not reality."

He went on to play quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles for four years, before moving to the New York Jets in 2014. He ended his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014.
