Anna Kendrick Takes a Dive While Filming 'Noelle'

Anna Kendrick was put on ice while shooting her new film for so long that the crew had to bring in a blanket to lay on.

Kendrick is in Vancouver filming "Noelle," a Christmas comedy where she plays Nicole Claus -- Santa's daughter -- who has to save the day when he can't deliver presents.

Production was switching out blankets, foam pads, and jackets while the actress was sprawled out during an extensive ice rink scene.

Not exactly method acting, but at least she stayed warm.
