Salma Hayek has finally addressed the passing of her former on-screen colleague, Alec Musser, reflecting on the pain she felt at the actor's demise.

The actress issued a statement, shared on social media, extending her condolences to his family.

Hayek and Musser — whose fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed his passing on Saturday at his residence in Del Mar, California — appeared together on the hit 2010 comedy-drama, "Grown Ups."

Hayek is feeling nothing but heartbroken at the loss of her co-star, who died at the age of 50. The actress and film producer uploaded the clip of Musser's famous role as a well-chiseled water park employee in a memorable "Grown Ups" scene.

In the reel, Hayek, alongside other fellow actresses Joyce Van Patten, Maya Rudolph, and Maria Bello acts flustered as the half-naked actor walks toward them in the film. 

"In loving memory of Alec Musser. He was so kind, professional, and absolutely hilarious. His early departure breaks my heart. I feel so blessed that I got to meet him. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for this great loss. ?," Hayek penned in the accompanying caption.

The sentiment struck a chord in the hearts of her Instagram followers as they swooped into the post's comment section to express their sadness at Musser's death.

"Rip sorry for your loss ? As someone from Saskatoon Saskatchewan (Saskatchatoon!) this scene will always live on and make me laugh every time I see it," one follower shared, and another disclosed, "I'm so sad to hear that. His scene is forever in my memory. It always gives me a big smile and laughter. He really left his mark. RIP."

A third person exclaimed, "Such a great scene! May he rest peacefully," a fourth pointed out, "That was one of my favorite parts of that movie. Rest in peace, Alec. ❤️," and a fifth claimed, "Oh that's sad, he was so young."

Besides Hayek, Van Patten, Bello, and Rudolph, "Grown Ups" also featured Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. The film includes Colin Quinn, Tim Meadows, Jamie Chung, Ebony Jo-Ann, and Di Quon in supporting roles.

The plot revolves around five lifelong friends who reunite three decades later for a 4th of July weekend following the sudden death of their junior high school basketball coach, who led them to victory in 1978.

Musser's other prominent on-screen gigs saw him portraying Del Henry on ABC's "All My Children" from 2005 to 2007. He secured the role after winning the second season of the reality competition series "I Wanna Be a Soap Star" in 2005. 

Following his time on the soap opera, Musser made a guest appearance on the network's dramedy "Desperate Housewives" in 2011. Beyond acting, he pursued a career in fitness modeling and bodybuilding. 

Documenting his active lifestyle and showcasing activities such as surfing and skiing on his Instagram page, according to Variety.

Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Connecticut, and San Diego, Musser graduated from the University of San Diego. After college, he relocated to California, where he worked as a ski patrolman and lifeguard. 

His entry into modeling occurred when an agent approached him, sending photos to Bruce Weber, who was casting for the new Abercrombie & Fitch campaign. This led to him taking him to diverse locations like Paris, Greece, Australia, Hawaii, and South Africa. 

His modeling portfolio included collaborations with clients such as Gianfranco Ferré, Cosmopolitan, Speedo, GQ, Men's Health, and Target.
