Janelle Brown has no regrets about leaving her ex-husband, Kody Brown, but her happiness pales to her joy for Christine Brown's new marriage.

The women rose to fame as part of the polygamous union showcased on TLC's reality TV series "Sister Wives." After quitting their plural marriage, Christine turned to monogamy with David Woolley — a romance Janelle believes her friend needed to fix the scars Kody caused.

Janelle Brown Subtly Disses Kody As A Bad Spouse Compared To Christine's New Husband

Janelle's love for Christine's newfound happiness echoed throughout Sunday's part 2 of the" Sister Wives: Christine & David's Wedding" special. The reality TV star, who left Kody after her pal, subtly dissed the patriarch as a lousy husband compared to Woolley.

She implied that Christine's new beau was her saving grace after enduring painful experiences in her longtime union with the polygamist. Praising the couple's love for each other, Janelle chimed:

"To me, the fact that they are obviously, openly affectionate with each other is almost like the healing balm that kind of soothes that wound that Kody inflicted."

Meri Brown, the third of Kody's four wives to leave the plural marriage, echoed similar sentiments about Christine's rocky relationship with their mutual ex-husband. She noted the new bride deserves Woolley after suffering Kody's verbal abuse.

"I think that she deserves it, especially after the last couple of years with all this stuff that's been coming out that Kody's been saying," Meri declared. "She deserves it. She deserves to be happy and have someone that really loves her."

Janelle and Meri's words weren't far from the truth, as Kody previously claimed he was "forced" into marriage with Christine and has been vocal about not being attracted to her.

Despite his harsh opinions about his ex-wife, the father of 18 also gave his blessings in the episode. "I wish for them all the happiness that life can give them. That's my honest feeling, and that's it," he said, adding:

"Christine had a goal in mind and hopes of finding a soulmate experience, and she put a lot of emotional energy into that. And I think she did something magical that drew that to her. I think they may be that match made in heaven, and I hope they have a wonderful day."

Christine and Kody ended their marriage in 2021, with the mother of six walking down the aisle two years later. In October 2023, she and Woolley said their vows in a breathtaking outdoor ceremony at Moab, Utah's Red Cliffs Lodge.

Before the ceremony, Christine confessed that the planning process had its fair share of stress. "There's been so many moving pieces with people coming and not coming, and then you're always going to offend someone," she explained, to which Woolley chimed in, "There's always family drama."

Instead of risking any "drama" on their big day, the guest list only included one star from the "Sister Wives" show. Kody, Meri, and his only remaining wife, Robyn, were excluded from the occasion, with only Janelle Brown present to watch Christine and Woolley begin their new chapter.

Christine Brown Claimed She Was Better Than Ever Thanks To Her New Marriage

Two months after her marriage to Woolley, Christine updated fans about her new life in a heartwarming Instagram post. She shared a stunning selfie, rocking a pink shirt that highlighted her glowing complexion under the sun.

The 51-year-old paired her chic outfit with sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, and a heart-melting smile. If her joy didn't radiate through the screen, she ensured fans knew how happy she was in the post's caption.

Christine explained that after leaving a polygamous union for a monogamous relationship, she was worried about losing her independence. However, Woolley not only blew her insecurity away but also made her happier. In her words:

"I was always concerned I would lose my independence in monogamy. I realized the other day, being married to the right person (David for me!), that I am more independent than I ever was! #strongwoman#independent#strongerthanever#blessed.”

Naturally, fans were touched by her sweet confession and flooded the comment section with praises. "Looking so genuinely happy," someone observed, with another chiming: "Honestly, you look 10 years younger!!!"

While many echoed similar sentiments, the best comment came from Christine's beau. He wrote: "I had surgery last Friday. I've never been taken care of like Christine has done for me. I have the best wife and soulmate that anyone could have; she is my angel. Love you so much, Christine Woolley!"
