In a chat with People Magazine, Davis revealed that she had no idea what TikTok was until her son Tim began uploading clips of her on the popular app.

When the lockdown persisted, the mother-son combo continued to create cooking videos for YouTube and later TikTok, with Tim behind the camera and Davis taking the spotlight.
