Tom Brady Breaks Silence On Bill Belichick's Leaving The New England Patriots

Former New England Patriots quarterback and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady has broken his silence on the recent news of Bill Belichickleaving the Patriots organization.
Brady worked with Belichick for approximately 20 years when on the New England Patriots, going on to win six Super Bowl rings together.
In the announcement made on Thursday, January 11, Belichick stated that he and Robert Craft, the Patriots owner, "mutually agreed to part ways” after a "series of discussions".
Belichick then went on to express his gratitude for the past 24 years, stating, “Players win games in the NFL, and I’ve been very fortunate to coach some of the greatest players who have ever played. I respect the way players come to work here on a daily basis — all of them, and I’ve coached well over 1,000."
One of those thousands of players was future Hall of Famer, Tom Brady, who broke his silence on the news, thanking the coach for everything he has done for the organization and for his career.
Tom Brady Reflects On Relationship With Bill Belichick
"I’m incredibly grateful to have played for the best coach in the history of the NFL," Brady wrote on social media alongside a photo of him and Belichick hugging.
"He was a great leader for the organization, and for all of the players who played for him. We accomplished some amazing things over a long period of time, many of which will be hard to replicate."
The former Patriot and Buccaneer added how the coach helped each and every player "achieve the ultimate goal, in the ultimate team sport," adding, "And, although we were successful, some of the greatest lessons I learned were in the moments where we faced the most challenging adversities."

Brady continued, "He set the tone for the organization to never falter in the face of adversity, and to do what we could do, and what was in our control, which was to go out and DO OUR JOB."
The former quarterback concluded with, "I could never have been the player I was without you, Coach Belichick. I am forever grateful. And I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose next."
Robert Kraft Speaks On Bill Belichick's Legacy
The New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, spoke out on Belichck's legacy following the news, admitting, “I don’t think in the NFL, there’s been any other partnership that lasted longer and has been more productive than ours."
Adding, "Coach Belichick will forever be celebrated as a legendary sports icon here in New England and, I believe, go in as a Pro Football Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Why? Because he is the greatest coach of all time – which makes this decision to part ways so hard.”
It is unclear at this time what the future holds for Bill Belichick. He may go on to coach a different NFL team, or he may decide it is time to retire. NFL fans will have to wait and see.
