Moreover, the Albanian singer had previously shared a viral behind-the-scenes video from the 2024 Golden Globes, which makes this naration another amusing layer to her recent escapades.

In a surprising turn of events, Lipa found herself taking an unplanned nap, proving that even pop stars cannot escape the unexpected moments that come with a good time.

On Tuesday, Lipa shared the amusing details of the impromptu twist that occurred during their day-drinking session. The three-time Grammy Awards winner disclosed that in a whirlwind 45 minutes, the duo downed shots of gin, vodka, rum, and tequila, creating a lively atmosphere.

During her interview on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," the host revealed that, despite the production team's recommendation to switch to water, Lipa was determined to keep the party going with strong spirits. 

Experiencing the effects of the spirited session, the 28-year-old welcomed the relief of a lunch break. Despite highlighting her commitment to quitting cigarettes, Lipa admitted that, at the moment, she opted for a cigarette break, thinking it would provide a remedy. In her words:

"I'm just gonna have a cigarette. That will, like, sort me out."

However, upon returning to the set, a hint of dizziness lingered. Although she opted for a quick bathroom visit to address the situation, the songwriter unexpectedly found herself dozing off in the less-than-luxurious stall of the bar's restroom.

In response, Meyers humorously remarked on the unconventional sleeping quarters. Unfazed, Lipa noted that she found the floor surprisingly cozy in her slumber, turning the bathroom into an unexpected nap haven.

Recalling the moment, the "IDGAF" artist shared that she pieced together the fragments of her memories, realizing the extent of her daytime escapade. At the same time, the 50-year-old host, recounting the incident, shared the unexpected departure of the "Be the One" singer during the episode.

Initially told that she needed a few extra minutes, Meyers soon discovered Lipa had vanished, leaving him perplexed and the audience in stitches.

In a not-so-related but equally entertaining episode, Lipa shared a behind-the-scenes video of her battling to sit down at the 2024 Golden Globes. Although the custom dress by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli stole the show, it was not for the reasons you might expect. 

The black velvet gown, adorned with a corset embellished in diamond and gold embroidery, posed an unexpected challenge for the two-time Guinness World Records holder. 

In the viral footage, fans witnessed the artist delicately attempting to lower herself into a chair. Still, her torso remained remarkably straight in a futile attempt to achieve a normal seated position. Despite her efforts, Lipa's discomfort persisted, captured as she slumped onto the back of the chair, with a seemingly "casual" arm resting on the banister behind her. 

In the video's caption, the "Houdini" singer expressed gratitude to the Golden Globes, while humorously pointing out her challenge. "Thank you @goldenglobes for such a beautiful night last night. The only thing missing was a reclining chair," she cheekily noted. 

Her jest about the need for a more accommodating seat resonated with fans, who could not help but laugh at the chair saga. A fan cheekily remarked, "And our award for most well-managed dress," while another humorously pointed out, "When you wear your standing dress to a sit-down event." 

Meanwhile, many could not help but commend Lipa's stunning appearance, emphasizing her ability to shine even in unexpected situations.

Adding a touch of lightheartedness to her Hollywood-inspired ensemble, the "Don't Start Now" singer later acknowledged the extravagance and glamor associated with events like the Golden Globes. In her words:

"Hollywood first and foremost. This is a very Hollywood event. I'm very excited to dress up and be here. I'm still cosplaying mermaid Barbie."

Despite the clothing saga, the night held both highs and misses for Lipa. She was nominated for her song "Dance The Night," featured in the film "Barbie" starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, so she faced stiff competition.
