Gymnast McKayla Maroney In Skimpy Spandex Is 'Rise And Shine'

Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney was in a pepped-up mood as she updated her Instagram in a skimpy, sporty look back in October 2021. The Gold Medal winner, 28, more than proved that she's maintained her athlete physique since retiring in 2016, showing off a trendy gym outfit and also getting her fans motivated for the day.

Going "rise and shine," McKayla stunned her 1.4 million followers in a sports bra and leggings, going mismatched and colorful and also reminding fans that rest and recovery are important. Sharing a gallery of images and motivational quotes, McKayla channeled the gentle, self-care approach she's so known for, and fans have left her over 87,000 likes.

Rocking a gray pair of high-waisted leggings as she flashed her rock-hard abs, the California native added in a tight sports bra where light blues faded into dark ones for a trendy finish.

Also showing off her toned arms and shoulders, McKayla posed by a water bottle and with a Theraband next to her. Sporting her dark locks down, the former GEICO ambassador kept her glam game strong, wearing lightweight makeup and completing her look via a bold pink lip.

In a swipe right, Maroney lay on her back to snap a gorgeous close-up selfie, this time showing off her Ear Buds.

A series of texts followed, ones showing McKayla's inner thoughts about keeping going and having "no choice" but to "be resilient." In a caption, the Glowy by McKayla founder told her fans: "Rise and shine," adding: "Whatever you’re going through you CAN come out the other side brighter, and more refined!!!! It’s okay to rest, heal, and take days off, but never give up on yourself, and your happiness. With God all things are possible."

Not long after her gym post, McKayla returned for another sporty selfie, this time posing outdoors and showing off a different look. Going plunging in a black spandex bra top with double straps, McKayla dressed up her outfit a little more via a pair of fitted, herringbone pants in black and white, here highlighting her slender waistline.

At the time I thought it was “angelic” and of God, and “spiritual protection” but I was wrong. Jesus is the only spiritual protection we need," she wrote with a smiley-face emoji.

Cute dresses are all over McKayla's IG, and this one gained instant fan approval. Posing amid grass in a red dress and cute pink jacket in 2021, McKayla wrote: "Dear August, please be kind."
