Apparenlty, Melania is the reason for her husband's alleged weight loss. Rumors swirled after Trump shared a report from his physician last year detailing his "excellent" health and "reduced" weight.

The letter from his doctor at the time noted that "President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity while maintaining a rigorous schedule."

This revelation by the ex-president made many wonder how he shed the unspecified weight, with some assuming he may have resorted to using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic, which has become a favorite of many in Hollywood. Very recently, billionaire and talk show legend Oprah Winfrey even admitted to using a weight loss drug to shed some weight.

However, a source has now shared with Page Six that avoiding the Mar-a-Lago buffet at his Florida resort and receiving assistance from Melania Trump, his wife, have been effective in helping him lose weight.

The source claimed that Trump has "dropped at least 30 pounds" and that "people at the club say he's eating healthier" thanks to Melania. The insider added that the 77-year-old has not been seen "scarfing down ice cream sundaes or chocolate cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream on it."

Last year, in November, Trump proudly shared a letter from his personal physician on President Joe Biden's birthday. The letter included claims that Trump had lost weight and was in "excellent shape."

It read at the time, "I am pleased to report that President Trump's overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range, and his cognitive exams were exceptional."

"Cardiovascular studies are all normal, and cancer screening tests are all negative. President Trump has reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity, while maintaining a rigorous schedule," the letter, signed by Dr. Bruce Aronwald of Morristown, NJ, continued, per NYP.

Before the release of the letter, Trump's weight was recorded as 215 pounds after he turned himself in to be booked in a case charging him for allegedly attempting to alter the 2020 election results in Georgia.

The recorded weight was met with skepticism, with many accusing the ex-President of lying. Sources for Page Six insisted that he "does lots of sport" and "looks good." They also claimed that "it's pure speculation" that the billionaire uses medications "like Ozempic or Wegovy, which are very popular in Palm Beach, where everyone is suddenly looking thinner!"

Known for his commanding presence on and off screen, Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger made a lighthearted joke about Trump's weight in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night talk show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

The "Terminator" star was asked to comment on rumors that Trump weighs 215 pounds, as stated in his booking records from Fulton County jail.

"You know, I don't really know how much he weighs," Schwarzenegger replied. "I can tell you one thing: if he would ask me what should he do for fitness, I would just say, 'Run around yourself three times, and you're going to be in great, great shape.'"

Kimmel then asked if he believed the former president actually weighed 215lbs, which the action star seemingly refuted.

"Yes, as much as it is possible that there is no climate change," he said. "And as much as it's possible that we don't need to reduce pollution."

"Look, we all know the way he is, and if it makes him feel good to tell everyone he weighs 215, I think everyone laughs about it because he does not look like he weighs 215," he added. "He's a little more like 315."
