Kroy Biermann wants part of Kim Zolciak'sdesigner sale loot!
The contentious dispute between the couple has continued to publicly unravel, with recent legal documents obtained by The Blast highlighting Biermann’s concerns about how Zolciak is using the profits from their designer sales.
Kroy Biermann Wants Court To Fairly Divide His & Kim Zolciak’s Georgia Mansion & Personal Property
According to the documents that were filed on Monday, Biermann claims that his estranged wife has been selling their extensive collection of designer items.
Unfortunately, he is unsure about the destination of the profits and has questions about whether the items being sold are marital property or her separate belongings. However, the one thing he is sure of is that none of the funds from the sales have contributed to supporting the marital estate, which he asserts is “weighed down by significant debt.”
"Respondent has and is in the process of selling some of the personal property. It is unknown what Respondent has done with the funds she received from the sale of the items. However, what is known is that none of the funds have been utilized to support the marital estate," the document reads.
Additionally, the former linebacker estimates the value of Zolciak’s designer collection to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, with the belief that she acquired most of it during their 11-year marriage.
Describing their financial situation, which includes a $1.1 million debt to the IRS and multiple lawsuits from banks, as "dire," he is “seeking an equitable division of marital assets including the home and the personal property acquired during the marriage but currently in the sole possession” of Zolciak.
Since Bierman has incurred attorney’s fees and other litigation costs in the process of filing the current motion, he wants the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum to reimburse him for these “fees and expenses.”
Back in November, Zolciak sold off some of her designer items on her Instagram Story. She put a grey Louis Vuitton purse for sale at $4,500 and a Chanel Shearling bag priced at $5,900.
The reality star also assigned a price tag to other items during this impromptu sale, including her Gucci mink heels priced at $1,250 and Balmain plastic heels available for $600. In the previous month, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star put up some pricey items that belong to Biermann.
The items included a stunning pair of Dior X Hajime Sorayama’s high-top B23 sneakers designed with cherry blossoms and a robotic Tyrannosaurus. "These are Kroy’s Dior shoes. These are so cute; they were worn one time. Excellent condition, perfect condition, I should say. So cute," she explained.
Other items that she assigned a price tag to during the impromptu sale include her Gucci mink heels priced at $1,250 and Balmain plastic heels available for $600. The Gucci heels from her collection featured gold and black details, a platform heel, and mink pom poms at the lace ends.
The Zolciak-Biermann Children Spent Christmas Without Their Mother
Biermann's filing about the sold designer items comes after Zolciak spent the festive period splurging on their children instead of dedicating quality time to them. Biermann's attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, addressed Zolciak's choice of separate holiday celebrations.
"Kim offered the children material stuff. Kroy opted for creating Christmas memories," Bergstrom stated, before adding, "The children and Kroy spent the whole day together; they went to church, and then Kroy prepared a wonderful Christmas dinner that they all shared as a family."
The attorney also expressed her perplexity over the reality star prioritizing gifts over creating unforgettable moments with her beloved family. "All except Kim, who, after the children opened their presents, spent the rest of the day in her living space in the basement of the couples' home."
It is possible that Biermann's lawyer's problem with Zolciak regarding the presents might be linked to the former lovebirds' ongoing financial challenges. As multiple sources claimed, the duo allegedly sold more of their belongings to purchase gifts for their children — Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.
In addition to the four kids the estranged pair share, Zolciak has two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from a previous relationship. Christmas 2023 marked the first festive season for the "Don't Be Tardy" stars since Biermann refiled for divorce.
In case you missed it, the retired Atlanta Falcons player initiated divorce proceedings from Zolciak in May 2023, stating their date of separation as April 30. However, the couple withdrew their divorce filing in July 2023, but in August 2023 Biermann refiled for divorce from Zolciak.
