Timothée Chalamet Breaks Silence On Selena Gomez & Kylie Jenner Incident

Timothée Chalamet is addressing those feud rumors between Selena Gomezand Kylie Jennerthat began circulating after the 2024 Golden Globes.

As you may know, a video has been going around of Selena Gomez seemingly gossiping with her BFF Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller, who is good friends with Taylor and is married to actor Miles Teller.

Many lip-readers tried to decipher what the trio was discussing at the big event, and that is when the rumors began that the three friends were spilling tea about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.

As the video began making its rounds on social media, many fans claimed that after Selena whispered something into Taylor's ear, Keleigh then reportedly asked Selena, "with Timothée?" to which Selena nodded yes.

However, despite the rumors, a source close to Selena Gomez squashed that gossip, stating that “[Selena] was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie.”

The source, who spoke to PEOPLE, added that Gomez “never even saw or spoke to them.”

Despite the rumors of Kylie rejecting a photo op with Selena and Timothée, the actor claims that the feud rumors are not true and there is no beef between the actress and media personality.

He also confirmed that he and Selena are "cool" with one another.

Even though those rumors are seemingly put to rest, fans are still dying to know what Selena, Taylor, and Keleigh were actually gossiping about.

As you may know, Timothée Chalamet became friends with Selena in 2019 after filming ‘A Rainy Day In New York.’

In the Spring of 2023, a source confirmed that Timothée got together with Kylie Jenner, and the two are now officially a couple.

On the other hand, Selena and Kylie have a bit of a rocky relationship. The ‘Only Murders In The Building’ actress used to be friends with the Kardashian clan, however, during the Taylor Swift - Kim Kardashian feud, Selena stood up for her BFF, Taylor, and now her relationship with the Kardashians is seemingly not what it used to be.

The ‘Wizards of Waverly Place' actress recently went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, producer Benny Blanco-- but a source close to the couple confirmed the two had been dating for months before the big announcement.

Last month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Selena and Benny had become more serious recently. “Selena and Benny have been casually seeing each other for a while and more recently, it became more official,” the source said at the time. “Things have been going really well between them and Selena is happy. She thinks Benny is very funny and of course, extremely talented. Selena is in a great place in her life and feels content and relaxed. She is enjoying where things are going.”

Another source close to Selena recently spoke out on her new relationship, stating that “she seems to be really feeling herself at the moment. Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally.”

“Everyone is so happy that she’s happy,” the insider added.
