After taking the holidays off to relax and enjoy some time with his family, the viral TikToker is ready to get back on his food tour. He recently announced the first stop in a video that's received nearly 2 million views and 14,000 comments!

Before announcing where he will be visiting as the first stop of the second leg of his food tour, Lee wanted to clear a few things up.

"I said I was gonna take the holidays off and chill and enjoy with my family, and I did that. While I was doing that, a lot of things came out," he said. "Like me getting compared to people, me being called a ghetto food critic, and a lot of narratives in general."

After explaining the things he's heard and sharing his response to it, it was finally time to learn where the food tour is taking Lee next.

"The first stop on the Keith Lee and Family Food Tour of 2024, the Bay Area, we coming," he said. "So if you or anybody you know has a mom-and-pop shop that has great food, great customer service, but can use the marketing that's in the Bay Area, tag them in this video, tag me in their videos, comment, DM or email me, however you wanna get in contact with me."

He said they plan to go to mom-and-pop shops, local spots, and the most recommended spots.

After sharing his announcement video, tons of comments started to pour in. While many were suggestions on where Lee should go, many others were warning Lee of something specific he needs to be aware of while visiting the Bay Area.

"Do not leave anything in your car. I mean anything when you are in the Bay Area," one person wrote. "Wherever you go in Oakland, take Uber and don’t have your car parked nowhere," another wrote.

Another person warned, "Keith, I love you & have watched you for quite some time. I am a Bay Area native. Please hip yourself to Bipping… please don’t get caught slipping."

Not long after he shared his video announcing the Bay Area as his first stop on the 2024 leg of the food tour, Lee shared an update video to address the comments that warned him of something called "bipping."

(For anyone who isn't aware of what bipping is, here's the Urban Dictionary definition of bip: "verb/noun: to break into a car/a tool used to break into a car."

"The other day I announced that the first stop on the Keith Lee and Family Food Tour was the Bay. And I saw not only a bunch of tweets, but a bunch of news articles saying stuff like this," he said before showing some examples. "Of course, I did some research, and now I'm fully aware of what bipping is. And I don't want no smoke."

Lee then said he goes where he feels he's supposed to go, so this information isn't going to change his plans.

"I walk by faith and not by sight," he continued. "And I heard a lot of people call the Bay Gotham City. In the way my mind works, is that's even more reason for me to come."

The viral TikToker said he was born and raised in the inner city of Detroit, and while he was sheltered by his "amazing parents," he learned some things growing up in Detroit.

"It taught me that the toughest situations breed the toughest people," he said. "And more likely than not, the most talented people. So I'm extremely excited to see what the Bay offers."

"As a Bay area native thank you for this. Yes, right now we have a bad rep, but I feel like the people here will protect you. We got you!" one viewer wrote in the comments.

Another added, "I’m so excited for this. As someone from East Oakland, there’s so much good from there that’s overshadowed. Enjoy."
