Serena Williams got a hard welcome back to reality after her fairy tale wedding and honeymoon, because she was cited for speeding near her home.

According to the citation issued by the Florida Highway Patrol, Williams was pulled over Saturday morning for going 86 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. She was cited and ordered to pay a $281 fine ... which shouldn't be too hard to manage.

Cops noted Williams was the lone occupant of her 2016 Mini Cooper -- she did not have newborn daughter Alexis in the car.

The sisters hosted “A Family Affair, Presented by Oath” at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center to raise money for their Compton-based Yetunde Price Resource Center.

Speeding to make a flight for charity -- while still wrong -- may deserve a pass.
