Authorities Continue To Investigate Ian Ziering Incident On Vandalism Charges

The law continues to be in Ian Ziering's favor, with zero charges against him following his viral New Year's Eve brawl.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star made headlines days earlier for bravely defending himself against a biker gang. While both parties blame each other for the incident, cops are more interested in the damages than who started the fight.

The fight between Ziering and the biker gang is being investigated as a potential felony vandalism case. Authorities are currently focused on slapping the charge on at least one of the bikers for damaging the actor's car.

A video from the incident captured one of the bikers using a helmet to smash Ziering's windshield. However, new videos from the brawl also show the alleged victim initiating the fight by pushing one of the bikers.

This video showed the brawl could be considered mutual combat in the eyes of the law. If the event did happen that way, the case may proceed without battery charges, especially since none of the bikers have filed a police report against Ziering.

Another reason the biker gang needs to share their side of the story with authorities is because of their mini motorbikes. It is illegal to ride these vehicles on public streets or freeways. But there are no charges for their alleged unauthorized bikes.

Meanwhile, if the potential felony vandalism case gets submitted, the L.A. District Attorney can add battery charges if they believe there is evidence to back this claim. On the biker gang's part, they remain adamant that they did not start the fight.

Two men riding with the 605 Minibike Gang told TMZ that Ziering started the viral New Year's Eve brawl, not their crew. Videos shared by fans seemingly backed this claim as it showed the TV personality confronting the bikers.

Set to the tune of Kate Earl's "All That Glitters," the footage began right when Ziering floored one of the bikers with a punch in the face. The action led to another biker — who donned a blue hoodie and a black helmet — attempting to hit him with their bike.

As other bikers began surrounding the father of two to get their own shots in, Ziering ran across the street. As he sprinted, he continued engaging in a physical altercation with the bikers who remained on his tail.

The brawl naturally excited fans, with many praising the 59-year-old for single-handedly defeating the biker gang. "They couldn't fight or have the b— to take their helmets off. They were all munchkin cowards," a person declared, with another writing:

"Again, that blue sweater guy was about to use the extra helmet to attack him after hitting him with a bike. Garbage coward."

"He single-handedly got away from them while throwing them all down to the ground, lol," a third chimed in. Ziering also received praise from his longtime friend for his incredible fighting skills.

Days after the New Year's Eve brawl, Ziering was hailed as a "Beast" by one of his "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-stars, Brian Austin Green. The actor addressed the fight in an Instagram Story video, raving about his pride in his longtime pal.

"Hey, so I didn't get a chance to get into this at all. My boy Ian Ziering got into a fistfight on Hollywood Boulevard with like five dudes, and f—ing like beat them, did it, did his thing," Green began before lauding Ziering with praises. In his words:

"He's a monster. He's f—ing incredibly fit, obviously. I would not suggest to anyone to fight people, especially not now in this climate. But, you know what? All turned out well. Z, I love you, brother, you're a beast; good on you."

While fans and Green praised Ziering for defeating the biker gang, the actor didn't share similar sentiments about the incident. In his recollection of the viral brawl, the 59-year-old lamented the poor state of the streets and urged authorities to stand against violence.

"I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace," he began, adding:

"This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior."

"As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient," Ziering continued, imploring law enforcers to do better against these lawless groups.
