Gypsy Rose's Husband Dishes On 'Redo' Wedding Following Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson and her husband, Ryan Anderson, are planning a second wedding just so the 32-year-old can have her "white dress moment."
The two got married in a prison wedding last June, but the two were not able to have a full ceremony or reception at the time. Now that Gypsy is a free woman, she is making up for the past seven years by spending time with family, traveling for promotional work, and enjoying classic American fast food.
But since Gypsy never had her moment as a bride, walking down the aisle in a stunning white dress, surrounded by friends and family, her husband wants to make that happen for her in a second wedding.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Deserves Her 'White Dress Moment'
"We want a proper wedding at some point," Ryan Anderson told PEOPLE when promoting Lifetime's 'The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard'.
Not only does Gypsy "deserve" the special celebration, but she "deserves a white dress moment."
"I know every female deserves that," Ryan said. "And Gypsy's already got the style of dress she wants. And it kind of shocked me."
He went on, "Somebody asked her that question the other day, and I was like, 'Wow, that was specific,' and she had it ready. So I wanna give her that moment."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson To Have a 'Redo' Wedding
Ryan isn't the only one planning a second wedding as Gypsy, herself, says that the two are currently planning a big event with their family and friends.
"We do plan on having a reception/redo wedding with all of our family and our friends and the dress and the cake and everything because we deserve that. I deserve that. He deserves that," she told the magazine.
As you may know, Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson spent the last seven years in prison after she pled guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Gypsy and her then-boyfriend plotted a way to kill Dee Dee over text messages, and the plan was put into place on June 15, 2016.
While Gypsy was in prison, she had many suitors reach out, but after she met Ryan, and after they became friends, she knew he was the one. The two ended up getting married in a prison wedding last June, but now the two want another wedding.
"Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other. It was something that meant something to us. And I think the party is kind of for everybody else and us, but mostly for everybody else," she added.
Gypsy Rose recently spoke out about her relationship with her husband, stating “We’re in love,” but also, “It’s hard because I’m going into a new life and I’m newly married, and I’m going to have kids one day, and I’m going to have to explain to my kids why their grandmother on mommy’s side isn’t around. And that’s going to be a really hard conversation.”
While in prison, she has gone through therapy and self-reflection to cope and move on with her life following the years of abuse she endured and the co-conspiracy of murdering her mother.
