Matt Lauer Carrying a Little Baggage After Ditching Wedding Ring

Matt Lauer was out doing a little shopping near his home, and appears to have taken off his wedding ring.

The disgraced "Today" host was out earlier in the week wearing his ring, but decided to take it off when he was seen getting lunch Thursday at Estia's Little Kitchen in Sag Harbor, NY.

Lauer's wife, Annette Roque, was also seen without her ring recently ... an early sign that the couple's relationship may not survive the public sex scandal.
