Although their voices could not be heard over the loud sounds of their weapons colliding, Yan could be seen directing Heard's movements. The entertainer showed off her impressive physique in a crop top and black leggings while easily wielding the staff and countering her trainer's moves.

Her incredible movements continued in the next video, where she rocked another crop top and leggings combo. However, Heard's opponents increased to two men, who followed a fighting routine of simultaneously attacking and then having her beat them off one after the other.

The TV personality successfully thwarted her opponents and ended the fight scene with the iconic superhero landing pose. She captioned the first video with white neon lights, writing: "Training days for Aquaman man 2. Thank you, Shane Yan ?" While her second caption read:

"Aquaman 2 training. Thank you to the enormous patience of my incredible stunt team. Especially @mightykungfu ?"

Heard's behind-the-scenes clips come shortly after she thanked fans for supporting her return as Mera in the DC movie. She shared three pictures depicting her fictional character's signature red hair, with the first capturing a close-up look at her glammed-up face and tresses falling down her shoulders in waves.

The second appeared to be a throwback picture from the first "Aquaman" movie, given how young her daughter, Oonagh, looked. In the snap, the doting mother was all smiles as she bottle-fed the then-baby with her red hair styled into a bun.

For the final image, Heard flaunted her playful side by flashing the camera her tongue as she posed inside a vehicle. The snap was presumably taken before or after shooting a movie scene as she tried to hide her special effects makeup behind sunglasses.

Fans Attacked Warner Bros For Amber Heard's Absence In New' Aquaman 2' Trailer

Heard's fan appreciation post came two months after her followers called out Warner Bros for removing her character in the "Aquaman 2" trailer. The actress's character, Mera, was nowhere in sight in the teaser released in November 2023.

The movie's 1-minute-30-second trailer began with Jason Momoa's Aquaman talking to his son and promising him a great future where they would explore their unique abilities to the fullest. However, their blissful dreams are crushed when the villain Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, comes for revenge.

The teaser also included the return of Nicole Kidman as Aquaman's mother, Atlanna, but no Mera as the current Queen of Atlantis. This complete absence differed from the first trailer, where Heard popped up in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment; however, the sequel's director claimed she wasn't intentionally omitted from the footage. In James Wan's words:

"I always pitched this to everyone from the get-go. The first Aquaman was Arthur and Mera's journey. The second movie was always going to be Arthur and Orm. So, the first was a romance action-adventure movie; the second one was a bromance action-adventure movie. We'll leave it at that."

Despite the director's claims, fans vehemently attacked Warner Bros. for Heard's absence, with many speculating she was removed over her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp. One individual wondered: "Is Aquaman a single father now? LMFAO. Are they just gon pretend Amber Heard isn't playing Mera?"

Another claimed: "If Aquaman turns out to be successful, they'll say bc the promotion didn't have Amber, and if it flops, they'll put the blame on her; it's a lose-lose game." A fellow displeased fan accused Warner Bros of playing favorites, writing:

"Warner bros releasing the Flash despite all the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller, but cutting Amber Heard out of Aquaman 2 is very sinister and weird as s–t."

Another fan shared, "Cutting out Mera/Amber Heard is crazy…. I'm glad the DCEU is washed because this whole thing feels tacky and kills any excitement I have left. Bury that s–t with this movie."
