Ex-convict Gypsy Rose Blanchard's hopes of meeting her favorite pop star, Taylor Swift, have been dashed, as she has reportedly been told to leave the state of Missouri following her release from prison two days ago.

Gypsy has admitted to being a huge Swiftie, claiming that the singer's music helped her through her time in prison and that she even spent her commissary money buying all of Swift's albums.

She also revealed during an interview that she had bought tickets to see Swift at the next Kansas City Chiefs game, but with the recent order from the authorities, those tickets will be of no use to her.

Gypsy will unfortunately not be able to meet her idol for now as she has been booted out of the state of Missouri. The ex-con, who was recently released from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in northern Missouri, had already become a local star in the town, causing a stir wherever she went.

According to a report, her parole officer was notified that she and her family members must leave the state amid the media buzz surrounding her release. This means that Gypsy would miss the Chiefs game on Sunday and would not get to see Swift despite having already purchased tickets for the game months prior.

While it's unclear why Gypsy is being forced to leave the state, sources shared with TMZ that it's likely because her presence poses "security risks" to the Kansas City area.

The news outlet claims that Gypsy is aware of the order to exit Missouri and is "bummed" by it.

She and her husband had made plans months ago to attend the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday just so she would have a chance to meet Taylor Swift, who would likely be watching the game to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

She's now reportedly on her way to Louisiana, where she will begin living with her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson.

According to Gypsy, Swift's music helped sustain her during her almost eight-year stay in prison. In an interview, she said she relates a lot to Swift as they've both been through the "Eras."

Gypsy also revealed that Swift was her "rock" during her stay at the correctional facility and kept up with the pop star through the years by buying all of her albums with the money sent to her in prison by her father, Rod Blanchard.

She Plotted To Have Her Mother Killed

In 2015, Gypsy planned with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, whom she'd met on the internet, to stab her mom, Clauddine Dee Dee Blanchard, to death.

The gruesome murder came after Dee Dee spent all of her daughter's childhood and early teens convincing her and the entire world that she suffered from muscular dystrophy and leukemia.

Gypsy was forced to use a wheelchair, told she was allergic to all kinds of sugar, and restricted from having friends or being around other family members. However, her abuse ended when Godejohn snuck into their home and killed Dee Dee by stabbing her multiple times.

Following her trial, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison in June 2016 and was slated for release in 2025.

Due to friends, family, and thousands of social media users pleading for leniency, the court granted her early parole in September 2023. Her fans and loved ones asked authorities to consider the years of abuse and unnecessary medical treatments Gypsy endured under her late mother.

While Gypsy has now found freedom, her boyfriend, whom she made kill her mother, continues to serve time in prison as he was given a life sentence without parole.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Celebrates Freedom With Champagne & Confetti

After her release from prison, the ex-con's family threw her a party to celebrate her newfound freedom.

Gypsy, who had been picked up from the correctional center by her husband, could be seen in pictures partying and popping champagne bottles.

Her stepsister, Mia Blanchard, uploaded the party images and showed Gypsy with a huge smile while surrounded by her family members. Besides her stepsister, others present at the party were her husband, Anderson, her father, Rod, and her stepmother, Kristy Blanchard.

In a video clip from the party, an excited and happy-looking Gypsy could be seen popping a wine bottle as golden confetti exploded right next to her. There was cake, snacks, and a balloon display that read, "Welcome Home."
