Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson is celebrating the holidays right out of prison, as her dad, Rod Blanchard, was spotted hauling a bag of Christmas wrapping paper and a Walmart box walking into her new Airbnb.
Following seven years behind bars for the co-conspiracy of her mother's, Dee Dee Blanchard's, murder, Gypsy, now 32 years old, is getting back to a 'normal' life. On her first night out of prison, Gypsy booked a budget-style hotel room, which she stayed in with her husband, Ryan Anderson.
After a few hours of sleeping in an actual bed for the first time in seven years, Gypsy then enjoyed an afternoon of shoe shopping, lunch at McDonald's, and now, a belated Christmas.

Gypsy's dad was spotted outside an Airbnb, in which Gypsy is staying with her husband, Ryan, for the next several nights, with a bag filled with Christmas-themed wrapping paper, seemingly from the family exchanging gifts after the 32-year-old's prison release.
Kristy Blanchard, Gypsy Rose's step-mom, recently spoke out on how excited she and the family were to spend Christmas with the 32-year-old. "We're going to do Christmas. I've got a Christmas tree, I've got her so many gifts. I went overboard, actually," Kristy told NewsNation.
Plus, Kristy has a spa day planned for her and Gypsy as she told the outlet, "Oh, we're also doing a spa day … we're going to go get her pedicure, manicure, facial, haircut, color if she wants, you know, the works, bring her shopping. She can't wait."

Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson Looks Forward To The Future
It seems as though Gypsy is already enjoying life out of prison, and she still has so much planned for the future -- including attending the Kansas City Chiefs game on New Year's Eve, where she hopes to meet her idol, Taylor Swift, as well as a book launch and a new docuseries, “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard."
She is also focusing on her future with her husband, whom she married n a prison wedding last June.
“We’re in love,” Gypsy said regarding her and Ryan before her prison release. But also, “It’s hard because I’m going into a new life and I’m newly married, and I’m going to have kids one day, and I’m going to have to explain to my kids why their grandmother on mommy’s side isn’t around. And that’s going to be a really hard conversation.”
As you know, Gypsy Rose was a victim of abuse from her mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, who is believed to have had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, which is a psychological disorder in which a caretaker, in this case, Dee Dee, makes someone ill or creates the illusion of them being ill to receive attention, in this case, her daughter, Gypsy Rose.
For years, Dee Dee lied about Gypsy’s medical history, even convincing her family, neighbors, and doctors that Gypsy had to be in a wheelchair and utilize a feeding tube.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson was sentenced to 10 years in prison. After completing 85% of her sentence, she was eligible for parole and was released on Thursday, December 28.
