Following her prison release, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is planning on moving in with her husband, Ryan Anderson.
The two got married during a prison wedding last June and are "in love," according to Gypsy.
On Thursday, Ryan picked up his wife from Correctional Center in Missouri around 3:30 a.m. local time as she was released on parole.
Gypsy Rose Plans For The Future Following Prison Sentence
In 2014, Gypsy Rose and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, began plotting the murder of Gypsy's mom, Dee Dee Blanchard, who abused Gypsy for practically her entire life. Both Gypsy and Nicholas were sentenced to prison. Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years with the possibility of parole after she completed 85% of her sentence, while Nicholas was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Gypsy and Nicholas have since separated and Gypsy found love with Ryan Anderson, whom she married last June during a prison wedding.
Ryan picked Gypsy up from prison on Thursday as she was eligible and released on parole. He was driving a car with a wrestling-themed license plate that read "HITMAN" and showed up with a camera crew.
Gypsy Rose is planning on moving in with her husband now that she is out of prison. In addition to her new living arrangements, Gypsy already has New Year's Eve plans as she has tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs game, where she hopes to meet her idol, Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift has been attending Chiefs games to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.
Gypsy Rose Speaks On The Murder Of Her Mother
Shortly before her release, Gypsy Rose Blanchard spoke to PEOPLE, admitting that if she "had another chance to redo everything, I don't know if I would go back to when I was a child and tell my aunts and uncles that I'm not sick and mommy makes me sick."
She added, "Or, if I would travel back to just the point of that conversation with Nick and tell him, 'You know what, I'm going to go tell the police everything.' I kind of struggle with that."
Although she doesn't know if she would go back in time and change anything, she did admit that "nobody will ever hear me say I'm glad [my mom is] dead, or I'm proud of what I did. I regret it every single day."
She Was Abused By Her Mother
Throughout Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s life, she endured abuse from her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who convinced her (and several others) that Gypsy had various medical conditions including asthma, epilepsy, down syndrome, and others.
She also stated that Gypsy was paralyzed from the waist down, which resulted in her needing a wheelchair, and that Gypsy needed a feeding tube.
Over the years, Dee Dee took Gypsy Rose to the hospital over 100 times and convinced the doctors to give Gypsy various surgeries, including gastrointestinal operations, the removal of her salivary glands, and certain eye procedures.
Gypsy Rose served seven years in prison, which is 85% of her 10-year sentence, and was released on parole on Thursday, December 28.
