Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 32, the woman who conspired to kill her abusive mother, who forced her to pretend to be disabled, with her then-boyfriend, is expected to be released from prison.

In 2016, Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection to the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and is set to be released on Thursday, December 28.

Her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, was also involved in the murder, as investigators claim Gypsy convinced him to stab her mother to death in 2015. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Despite still being behind bars, Gypsy Rose stated she already has tickets to attend the Kansas City Chiefs game on New Year's Eve -- and she hopes to meet pop icon Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

When in court during trial, Gypsy Rose Blanchard testified that her mother abused her for years as she forced her to use a wheelchair and undergo unnecessary medical tests. Dee Dee used her daughter as a disabled child poster just to collect charitable donations.

The public and investigators believe that Gypsy Blanchard was a victim of Munchausen by proxy, which is a rare form of abuse in which a guardian fakes illnesses in a child for attention and sympathy, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

When the Blanchard family moved to Missouri in September 2005, Dee Dee told neighbors that Gypsy's medical records were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

Gypsy, who is now 32 years of age, and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, later came up with a plan to get rid of Gypsy's mother, Dee Dee, which they executed by stabbing her to death.

A text message exchange between Gypsy Rose and her then-boyfriend, Nicholas, was revealed during the trial, which showed the two conspiring to kill Dee Dee.

"This s--ts gonna go down tonight.." Gypsy said to Nicholas, who replied, "Babe it's my evil side doing it he won't mess up because he enjoys killing."

Gypsy Rose then told Nicholas, "We'll be happy soon after this night we will never bring it up."

Gypsy Rose Regrets Killing Her Mom

One day before her release from prison, Gypsy Rose Blanchard said she regrets having her mother killed but was “desperate to get out of that situation," referring to the medical abuse she endured from her mother, which began when she was just 8 years old, at which time she said her daughter had been diagnosed with leukemia and muscular dystrophy and needed a wheelchair and feeding tube.

In an interview shown during the 2017 HBO documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest," Gypsy Rose said her mother told her she had "asthma, epilepsy, hearing impaired, vision impaired, needed a feeding tube, paralyzed from the waist down, retardation, among other things."

“Nobody will ever hear me say, ‘I’m glad she’s dead’ or ‘I’m proud of what I did.’ I regret it every single day,” she told PEOPLE prior to her prison release.

According to medical records, Dee Dee brought Gypsy to local hospitals over 100 times between 2005 and 2014.
