Meghan McCain still has a bitter taste in her mouth when it comes to her former colleagues and workplace.
McCain exited the hit daytime variety talk show, "The View" in August 2021 on heated terms and has been vocal about her experience with her co-hosts and the show's management.
More than two years after her exit, the political commentator has more to say about the ladies of "The View" bringing her name up at every chance, and is calling it "bullying."
Meghan McCain Says She's Being Accused Of Crimes By 'The View' Hosts
McCain made a recent appearance on Michael Malice's "You're Welcome" podcast where she bared her heart out about the alleged continuous slander by her former co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, Alyssa Griffin, and Sunny Hostin.
When asked by the host when she realized that the producers of "The View" hired her to be the "bad guy" and "object of derision to facilitate more drama," McCain answered, "It's weird that we're talking about The View because I don't know if you've seen what happened today."
The TV personality recalled a December 14 episode when Navarro compared her to Hunter Biden while discussing his foreign business dealings that are under investigation.
"This afternoon I was picking my daughter up from school," she recalled. "And I had a few friends text me that Ana Navarro had compared me to Hunter Biden and alluded on air that I had basically done the exact same thing Hunter Biden has done.
The Daily Mail Columnist declared that she had never done anything illegal and was discussing a potential lawsuit with her legal team because "I'm being accused of crimes on ABC News and it's serious."
Opening up about being constantly harassed by her former colleagues, McCain said: "I can't go like a week without something being said about me on this show."
She continued, "The thing about The View is that I didn’t know when I signed my contract with ABC that this is forever, that for the rest of my life, I'm going to be bullied, yelled at, abused, and brought up for years. I haven't been on that show in years!"
The mother-of-two who stated she was only trying to live her life and raise her daughters further lamented, "I just didn’t know that when I signed to do this show that I’d have to deal with, like, these crazy old people just yelling about me all the time."
McCain noted that she hasn't thought of her former co-hosts or the show in months but they can't say the same about her. "Apparently, I am just on their minds every day. And it's pathetic," she concluded.
During the episode that McCain referenced in the interview, Navarro and the ladies were discussing Hunter Biden's indictment when she remarked, "Look, did Hunter Biden influence-peddle on his last name? Yes, he did. So did half of Washington. People sitting at this table did it!"
Meghan McCain Calls Out Ana Navarro's Remarks
After the episode aired, the daughter of late Senator John McCain wasted no time and publicly slammed Navarro. She took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, "I don’t understand why my former colleagues @TheView @ABC bring me up and slander me on an almost weekly basis. It has been years - move on, I have."
She continued, "I have never been accused of a crime in my life and am a patriotic American - I would never and have never 'influenced peddled' in my life, let alone with foreign adversaries. Not all politician's children are the same - and I am no Hunter Biden. All accusations are absurd, defamatory, and slanderous."
McCain concluded the post, writing, "I will be consulting my lawyers regarding what was libeled against me on The View this morning."

Fans immediately supported the television personality, declaring that "The View" was taking things too far. "Pretty foul of Ana Navarro. I would take legal action," remarked a fan while another wrote, "Would have hoped for Whoopi Goldberg to have at least say something like 'That is not a fair thing to say so let's move on...'"
Another comment read, "Meghan - to compare you to Hunter Biden is appalling. Just disgraceful," while this follower advised, "Sue them for defamation. This is getting out of control."
