Green and his wife of 13 years have been listed as defendants in a civil lawsuit about an April 2023 car accident that allegedly resulted in personal injury and property damage to the plaintiff.

According to the documents, the car wreck happened on April 7, 2023, on Southbound Laurel Canyon, before the Dona Dorotea Drive cross-street in Los Angeles, California. While details of the crash weren't fully described, the female plaintiff, whose name was withheld, alleged:

"At the said time and place, Defendants, and each of them, so negligently owned, maintained, operated, entrusted, and/or drove a motor vehicle so as to cause injuries and Damages to Plaintiff. Plaintiff was injured and sustained damages as a direct legal cause of Defendants' negligence and but for the negligence of Defendants, and each of them, Plaintiff would not have been injured and sustained Damages."

The lawsuit further stated, "Defendants negligently hired, trained, managed, directed, instructed, and/or supervised their agents and/or employees, the result of which legally and directly caused the accident and Plaintiff's injuries and damages."

This basically means it's not certain who was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred. Their car could have potentially been driven by a staff member, an agent, or an employee. Nevertheless, the female plaintiff is claiming that the accident is the couple's fault.

The Plaintiff claimed that, as a result of the incident, she was forced to pay for hospital and medical expenses. She also claimed that she suffered other damages as well. She is seeking compensatory damages in an unspecified amount that will be determined according to proof of the wreck.

In 2022, the "Austin Powers" actor made headlines after he came forward about his alarming experience at the hands of veteran actor Bill Murray.

During an episode of "Good Mythical Morning," the actor claimed that Murray bullied him on the set of "Saturday Night Live" when he was just nine. Green recalled the incident when he was asked who was the "rudest celebrity" that he had ever encountered.

"When I was nine years old, I did a spot on "Saturday Night Live'" Green recalled. "Bill Murray was hosting the show and Bill Murray as everyone knows is great with kids," he joked.

Green continued, "He saw me sitting on the arm of this chair and made a big fuss about me being in his seat. And I was like, 'That is absurd. I am sitting on the arm of this couch. There are several lengths of this sofa. Kindly, eff off."

The Pennsylvania native explained that Murray didn't budge and insisted it was his chair, resulting in Green's mother intervening. "And then my mom goes, 'You know, since he's THE Bill Murray you should maybe give him his seat," Green remembered. "And I go, 'Are you this much of a jerk? You're this rude to tell a nine-year-old to get out of your … what is this power play?'"

Things, however, got more intense following his remark, with Green claiming Murray got a bit physical with him. "He picked me up by my ankles … he dangled me over a trash can and he was like, 'The trash goes in the trash can!'"

The "Family Guy" voice actor added, "And I was screaming, screaming! And I swung my arms flailed wildly, full contact with his balls, full contact. He dropped me in the trash can, the trash can falls over. I was horrified. I ran away, hid under the table in my dressing room, and just cried, cried."

Green confessed he was traumatized by the incident, saying "[I] was like 'Oh my god. I don't want to do the show. I can't believe this happened! I've never been so embarrassed in my life."

Luckily, his embarrassment was assuaged by his co-stars Eddie Murphy and Tim Kazurinsky, who comforted him backstage. "They come back and come into my room. They're like, 'Hey, everybody knows Bill's a d---, you know? He's hosting the show. He's probably really like nervous about it. You go be a pro, all right? The show must go on. You go be a pro. You're a pro, right?' I was like, 'I am a pro. I'm a pro.'"
