Tiffany Haddish is joking about her recent time behind bars following her DUI arrest, claiming the facilities are beautiful and raving about the feminine products.
As we previously reported, the actress pled not guilty to her two misdemeanor charges from when she was arrested on November 24, 2023 by cops after they found her asleep at the wheel, while it was still turned on in the middle of the road.
Tiffany Haddish Claims Beverly Hills Jail Is "Beautiful"
The "Girls Trip" actress was at The Laugh Factory's annual Christmas feast Monday night, where she addressed her recent DUI charge -- cracking jokes and claiming the Beverly Hills jail is not what you'd expect.
While she was dressed as Mrs. Claus, she told the crowd that the jail offers some of the most beautiful facilities -- which got a laugh from the crowd. She continued to claim the jail was clean and even offered amazing feminine.
During her performance, she claimed "It’s important for my fans and the people who come every single year to be genuine, honest and let them know, ‘Hey, I’m a human being. I’m not perfect and I make mistakes."
This is not the first time Tiffany Haddish joked about her recent arrest as on a recent appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ she said, “I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform.”
“I wasn’t expecting it. I was not expecting that at all,” she said, adding, “Now, I’ve got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better.”
A Georgia judge recently mandated that the famous comedian refrain from alcoholic drinks or using illegal substances following her second DUI arrest. She is also required to undergo random drug testing until further notice.
Haddish is currently prohibited from consuming alcohol or using substances, including HEM products like CBD. The judge also specified that any prescription drugs must adhere to therapeutic limits. The order does allow the actress to take prescription drugs “within the therapeutic limit.”
Tiffany Haddish Claims She Will Get Help
This is not Tiffany Haddish’s first DUI charge, as she found herself in a similar situation last year in Atlanta. At the time, Peachtree City police had also reportedly received a phone call about a person seen sleeping in their car.
After her second DUI charge, the actress and comedian pledged that “this will never happen again.”
“I’m going to get some help, so I can learn balance and boundaries,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Friends of Haddish's recently spoke out about how worried they are for the actress.
“As soon as I heard it, I said ‘goddamn, I’m glad she’s okay,'” a close friend of Haddish told The Post, adding, "But it seems weird to me. You would think that someone would have a driver in that situation. This is tough because there’s nothing anybody’s gonna say to take away that this is her second offense."
“The way people look at drinking and driving. Hopefully, there’s a lesson to be learned. If people want to be critical, I say f–k that — you don’t know what a person is going through. You don’t know what’s troubling a person," the source added.
