Amanda Bynes Undergoes Drastic Makeover After Canceling Podcast [PHOTOS]

Former child star Amanda Bynes unveiled a new look after announcing that she was done with podcasts for good.

Taking fans by surprise, Bynes, who recently debuted a platinum blonde look, decided to dye her hair black. Her latest makeover comes amid her decision to end her podcast in favor of getting her license as a manicurist.

Bynes is not interested in being a blonde for the festive season. The "She's The Man" star shared a gorgeous makeover with her followers on her Instagram Stories as she debuted a black hair color.

The former actress made the revelation alongside a photo of the products she used, Revlon ColorSilk Hair Color, and the finished look.

Before taking off her platinum blonde hair, Bynes shared photos of herself rocking the color during an outing with the co-host of her now-canceled podcast, Paul Sieminski.

Besides changing her hair, Bynes recently spoiled herself by splurging on a black BMW from a used car lot. The actress shared the image of her new ride on her Instagram Stories, writing, "I bought a BMW yesterday," along with a black heart emoji.

Bynes had previously shown interest in cosmetology, so her latest announcement should come as no surprise to her fans.

Bynes' latest changes came after she confirmed to her fans that she was done with podcasts and intended to pursue her license as a manicurist.

The "What A Girl Wants" actress noted in her announcement that although her podcast's first and only episode was a success, she was more interested in having a "consistent job."

"The 1st episode of my podcast did really well… I was actually surprised and, of course, was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to," Bynes wrote. "After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job. I'm going to follow that path instead. Thank you for following my journey."

The actress's decision to stop doing podcasts has been met with positive responses from her supportive fans.

Bynes's podcast, "Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast," went on a very short hiatus before she eventually canceled it.

At the time, the "Hairspray" star thanked her followers for the positive reception while announcing that the show would have to be postponed due to a lack of famous faces as guests.

Bynes said on her Instagram stories, "So even though the podcast is doing really well and response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now."

She continued, "We are not able to get the type of guests that I'd like on this show, like, say, Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we are able to get those types of guests on this show, we will resume the podcast, but for now, I'm taking a pause on it."

"Thank you everyone who watched. I really hope you enjoyed it, and that is all for now," she concluded.

Bynes' hiatus was very short-lived as she quickly did a 180 after her close friends encouraged her to be consistent with the podcast despite being unable to book high-profile guests.

Amid what many were calling Bynes' "industry comeback," the actress shared some intimate details with her fans, specifically admitting that she had plastic surgery to remove skin folds from the corner of her eyes.

She stated that speculations about her looking different were true because she had blepharoplasty.

"So I saw a couple of stories online that say I have a new look, and I was never open about this before, but I actually had Blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes. So I don't have those skin folds anymore," Bynes said in a short video shared on her Instagram Stories.

She continued, "It was one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin. So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look."

Bynes also told her followers she felt "a lot better about" herself and was "so glad" she had blepharoplasty. "It was one of the greatest things I could have ever done," the former actress noted.

In another video, Bynes told her fans that she "usually" doesn't look good in paparazzi images because paparazzi photos are taken outside, and the sunlight tends to be "harsh and bright" on her skin.
