Amanda Bynes Flaunts BMW Purchased From Used Car In L.A.

As seen in her recent social media update, former actress Amanda Bynes seems to be in a spending mood. The podcast host shared an odd photo of her latest purchase, a black BMW.

The car purchase comes amid drama surrounding her podcast, which she recently brought back after going on hiatus for one day.

Bynes announced that she didn't want to continue her show until she could book high-profile guests like Drake. However, she did a 180 and is set to film a new podcast episode.

The "She's The Man" star posted a photo of a black car alongside the caption, "I bought a BMW yesterday."

The former child star got the vehicle from Alen's Auto Care, a used car lot located in North Hollywood. Bynes' latest purchase comes amid her big industry comeback with the release of her very own podcast. It's unclear how much she spent on the used vehicle.

In November, she revealed her intention to start a podcast focusing heavily on the entertainment industry. The "Hairspray" actress expressed her enthusiasm for the project.

Bynes, who co-hosts the show with Paul Sieminski, mentioned that she met him during treatment, where they quickly learned they have "very similar interests" and that they even plan to start a "beauty brand in the future."

The 37-year-old went on to note that the podcast, hosted on Spotify, will delve into different topics related to the entertainment industry and will be called "Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast."

The announcement marked a significant step for Bynes, who was placed on a series of 5150 psychiatric holds earlier this year after being spotted walking around L.A. in the buff. She has since stated that she has no plan to discuss her mental health on the podcast.

After the release of Bynes' podcast's first episode, the former actress shocked her fans by announcing that she would pause the show due to a lack of high-profile guests.

Bynes said at the time, "So even though the podcast is doing really well and the response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now."

She continued, "We are not able to get the type of guests that I'd like on this show, like, say, Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we are able to get those types of guests on this show, we will resume the podcast, but for now, I'm taking a pause on it."

Shortly after this, the actress seemingly did a 180 and announced that she had changed her mind, and would would continue working on her podcast.

"So I wanted to post something about how I felt last night after I made a post that we were pausing the podcast. I felt really sad, and I was like in a really bad mood, because the podcast was actually something that I was really looking forward to filming next week, and it was something that I was really excited about," she said.

Bynes continued, "So I talked to a few friends, and they all said to keep going. So, we are going to continue the podcast, and we are filming next Friday as planned. I think that podcasts just take time to grow like to build a following."

The "What A Girl Wants Star" then revealed that her next guest on the podcast is "Nick Mendes," whom she described as the "manager of the store Flight Club in L.A."

Bynes recently opened up about getting work done on her eyes, after fans speculated about the change in her appearance. Bynes admitted to undergoing the surgical procedure known as "Blepharoplasty," which she claimed made her feel more confident about herself.

She said, "So I saw a couple of stories online that say I have a new look, and I was never open about this before but I actually had Blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes. So I don't have those skin folds anymore."

Bynes continued, noting, "It was one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin. So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look."
