Amanda Bynes' Podcast Returns After 1 Day Hiatus With Store Manager As Guest

Former child star Amanda Bynes did a 180 and announced that her podcast is no longer going on a hiatus, and she will be filming a new episode of her show this week!

Bynes initially told her fans that she would put her podcast on pause due to a lack of high-profile guests like Drake and Post-Malone.

Shortly after announcing that her podcast would take a break, Bynes has brought it back and plans to keep putting out episodes for her fans.

The former actress took to her Instagram stories, saying, "So I wanted to post something about how I felt last night after I made a post that we were pausing the podcast. I felt really sad, and I was like in a really bad mood, because the podcast was actually something that I was really looking forward to filming next week, and it was something that I was really excited about."

She continued, "So I talked to a few friends, and they all said to keep going. So, we are going to continue the podcast, and we are filming next Friday as planned. I think that podcasts just take time to grow like to build a following."

"I shouldn't have said what I said last night about like not getting the types of guests that we were looking forward to getting because you never know, we might get them in the future. And the guests that we have lined up are actually really great, so I'm really looking forward to filming the next episode and that's about it," Bynes stated in the short clip.

In another video, the 37-year-old revealed that she and her co-host, Paul Sieminski, have found their next guest for the Friday episode. Bynes said, "His name is Nick Mendes and he's the store manager of the store Flight Club in L.A. I cannot wait to interview him."

Bynes, who recently made her Hollywood comeback with the podcast, stunned her followers when she revealed that her podcast would be going break.

At the time, she claimed that the reason for the sudden pause was a lack of high-profile guests on the podcast. She mentioned names like Drake and Jack Harlow as stars she would have loved to have on her show.

"So even though the podcast is doing really well and response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now," Bynes said at the time on her IG stories.

She continued, "We are not able to get the type of guests that I'd like on this show, like, say, Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we are able to get those types of guests on this show, we will resume the podcast, but for now, I'm taking a pause on it. Thank you everyone who watched. I really hope you enjoyed it, and that is all for now."

Bynes' decision to stop the podcast was met with mixed reactions from fans, with many encouraging her to keep the show going.

Fans of Bynes begged her to not be bothered by the lack of famous guests, noting that "consistency" is key and that the show will find success over time.

One particular person said, "Amanda, keep going! Building something from scratch is not easy and it takes consistency. I'm doing the same thing right now building a business and it's hard and there can be a lot of self-doubt. Or wanting to be at a place in the future where we just aren't yet. But we will get there!
