Emily Ratajkowski Addresses Braless Appearance In 89-Degree Heatwave

Emily Ratajkowski won't stand for being shamed for going braless, and she was happy to defend herself about the whole thing in 2018. In November of that year, the supermodel made headlines for joining a high-profile protest march against Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh‘s Supreme Court nomination in Washington, D.C. Attending the event during a heatwave, Emily chose to go braless as she showed her support, but the lack of support caused a stir. Championing the trend also adored by the likes of model Kendall Jenner and singer Miley Cyrus, Emily kept her feminine-strong spirit up via her outfit, and she wasn't done as she refused to tolerate the resulting shaming.

Keeping stylish and casual, the Inamorata founder added in a fuss-free pair of belted jeans, also donning shades as she marched the streets and held a sign. People noted that EmRata was showing her nipples through her outfit, something that sparked backlash, plus a response from the model herself.

“I knew being there would be important and I knew some people would find it controversial, but I never expected anyone to talk about why I wasn’t wearing a bra under my tank top,” Emily revealed afterward.

Pointing out the sweltering heat everyone was out in, she added: "It was [89] degrees [Fahrenheit], I was marching through D.C. in jeans; my outfit seemed completely normal to me. And I was there making a political point. Why would people focus on what I was wearing?” Scroll for more photos!

Emily remains best known for her jaw-dropping bikini body, and she's been showing it off this winter. Posting to her Inamorata swim and lingerie brand's Instagram recently, the 32-year-old flaunted her washboard abs and long legs as she modeled a classy blue two-piece from her line. Shouting out the sale she had on for black Friday last month, Emily let her brand do the talking as a caption read: "BLACK FRIDAY SALE—50% off your favorite satin styles including the Luciana and the Capreria! Happy shopping ?." Fans left the snap over 27,000 likes.

"EMILY! Fantastic Figure!" one fan gushed.

If you spotted Emily's blue bikini further up, it's worth knowing that fans responding had plenty to say. One even claimed to have met the model as they said: "This woman is the real thing.
