Gayle King Says Stedman Misunderstood 'Oprah for President' Question

Gayle King was doing her best to clean up Stedman Graham's alleged misstep after Oprah's longtime partner spoke about her possible Presidential run in 2020.

Oprah's BFF was on "CBS This Morning" when she said that Graham misunderstood the L.A.Times reporter's question after the Golden Globes, and only meant that Oprah would make a good president.

Norah O'Donnell held King's feet to the fire though and pressed about O's intentions to run, and King finally admitted "I do think she's intrigued by the idea."

It's still unclear what Oprah's political ambitions are ... but one thing is crystal clear ... Stedman's in the doghouse.
