Amelia Hamlin Showing G-String In Her Car Unappreciated By Instagram

Amelia Hamlin received a very lukewarm response as she flashed her G-string while posing in a car to kick off an Instagram gallery earlier this year. Posting for her 1.5 million followers, the model and daughter to reality star Lisa Rinna went edgy with a grunge-themed snap, but it looks like the opening slide and the rest of the post weren't doing it for some fans.

While some expressed worry for Amelia's health as they asked if she's eating, others appeared to feel Amelia had gone too trashy. The latter is not reflected by Amelia's latest career wins, which have included modeling for the likes of Chanel and Versace.

Wearing super low-rise jeans, the 22-year-old flashed a black thong beneath her pants, also going cropped in a cut-off black tee. Showing off her trim waistline and toned abs, Amelia showcased her slender frame while rocking heavy black eyeliner, also opting for pale makeup. In a swipe right, the model shared some fried chicken and fries from a takeout joint before posting outdoor festival snaps with friends.

Also included in the gallery was a little swimwear action as Amelia snapped a selfie while sunbathing in a black bikini with white straps. "I was 2 busy having fun I forgot to take pics but these r cute. Also, the tat is fake but just appreciate the vibes," she captioned the April share.

The haters didn't take long to fill the comments section. "What a waste," a popular reply read. Going sarcastic as they quoted a lyric, a further fan said: "Your school has no gymnastics team, this is a last resort." This reply received over 80 likes. "Sorry, you are not it," another liked comment read.

Amelia made pre-pandemic headlines for opening up about her anorexia nervosa and bravely documenting her eating disorder recovery. Despite being healthy, the star still garners comments about her weight.

Gaining likes was a fan who told Amelia: "Showing food doesn’t mean you eat it." The model's fans weren't going to let this one slide. Firing back as they defended the Alexander Wang Swim face, one user wrote: "Says the person that follows an account just to make crude comments."

Elsewhere, fans mocked Amelia as they also laced their replies with shade. One fan likened Amelia's look to the heroin chic vibe made infamous by British model Kate Moss in the '90s. Amelia does not appear to have responded to the tirade of hateful remarks.

A quick scroll through Hamlin's IG shows an impressive array of brand deals, from Levis x Kenzo and Hugo Boss, to her Miu Miu runway walk and DKNY campaign.

Amelia also walked the Versace Cruise runway in May.
