Lady Gaga was preparing to debut a line of signature wines inspired by her family's Italian restaurant, but officials are holding up the singer over a big issue with her vino's moniker.

The "Bad Romance" star used the name of her family's New York eatery, Joanne Trattoria, which is named after her late-aunt. Unfortunately, trademark officials only care about who filed the paperwork first, and the company with the current rights filed theirs back in 2015.

If Gaga wants to save her wine empire, she may be forced to come up with a new label ... perhaps a nice glass of Little Monsters' Merlot?
