Country music star Luke Combs is apologizing following a massive $250,000 lawsuit involving a fan who sold merchandise with Comb's face on it.

Nicol Harness was recently sued for selling a Luke Combs-themed tumbler from her Amazon store. After learning of the lawsuit, the country music singer himself addressed the suit.

"I woke up to use the restroom, and the first thing I saw was this," Combs said in a new video, showing a screenshot of the original news article of the lawsuit. "I’ve spent the last two hours trying to make this right … because I was completely and utterly unaware of this."

The lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of Combs, named Harness's Amazon shop for illegally selling merchandise with his face on it.

Nicol Harness, who is a resident of Tampa, Florida, had sold 18 Luke Combs-themed Tumblers on her Amazon store before she was hit with the lawsuit.

According to FOX, before Harness even realized she'd been sued, she claimed a judge had already ruled that she owed Combs $250,000. Plus, all future sales from her Amazon store would go to Combs until she paid off the $250,000.

The country music singer went on to explain how his manager reached out to the news station that first reported on the lawsuit. He also said that he employs a company that "goes after folks -- only, supposedly -- large corporations operating internationally that make millions and millions of dollars, making counterfeit t-shirts, things of that nature, [and] running illegal businesses."

"And apparently this woman, Nicol, has somehow gotten wrapped into that, and that makes me absolutely sick to my stomach."

Amid the legal drama, it was also reported that Harness had recently returned home from a hospital stay due to congestive heart failure.

Luke Combs has reached out to Nicol Harness and apologized for what he describes as a "misunderstanding."

After speaking to Harness, Combs said that she "was absolutely shocked by this," which made him "so apologetic."

"It makes me sick, honestly," the "Fast Car" singer said before adding, "that this would happen, especially at the holidays. I can’t imagine being in her shoes."

"She was never supposed to be involved in anything like this. No fan should ever have to be involved in anything like this," he stated in the video.

Combs is going the extra mile by not only creating a tumbler to sell on his website, with all proceeds going to Harness to help with her medical bills, but he is also inviting her out to a show so that he can apologize in person and hug her.

"I invited Nicol and her family out to a show this year, so I can give her a hug and say sorry in person. It makes me sick for anybody to be thinking that I’m this kind of person, because I’m the farthest thing from it," Combs said in his video. "Love you guys, and I’ll keep you posted."

The 14oz tumblers that Combs is selling are listed at $20 each and are on sale now. You can view the tumblers on Luke Combs’ website here.
