Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' Mom Shares Touching Tribute One Year After Death

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss' mother is paying tribute to her son, one year after he tragically took his own life while staying in a motel.
As previously reported, 'tWitch' took his own life last year when staying at a motel less than one mile from his home in L.A. He was 40 years old.
'tWitch''s mom took to Instagram this morning to pay tribute to her firstborn son, sharing a collage of photos and videos, writing, "A year ago today, you sent your last I love you’s, your final check-ins and closed your eyes in this earthly realm and awoke with all the ancestors in the presence of God."

She added, "My firstborn, my first heartbeat, my Booboo (I can see that little smirk, yes I said it), my beautiful son, Stephen Laurel Boss, I miss you beyond words and love you through eternity. #LLSLB 09/29/82-12/12/22."
At the time, his wife, Allison Holker Boss, confirmed his passing in a statement to PEOPLE. "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share [that] my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into," she told the outlet.
Adding, "He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
Fans Pay Tribute To 'tWitch' One Year After Death
Followers immediately flooded the comments section to share their condolences one year after the world lost 'tWich'.
"One mom to another…. I can’t imagine your pain. I’m so sorry," one user wrote, adding, "Sending you love and healing energy. This is a terrible loss to so many. You raised a good man, and he will forever be missed."
Another commented, "Your son added so many happy moments into our lives through his dance and smile. We miss him so much. Sending you love and healing energy."
"Much love out to you and the family! I miss him every day. Sending prayers for strength and comfort," one fan wrote.
Meanwhile, one fan opened up, saying that 'tWitch''s death saved their own life. "Sending you so much love," the user wrote before adding, "I was in a dark place last December and his passing woke me up. I'm back there now but more self-aware of it. It's a seasonal thing for me."
Police Officers Allegedly Find Suicide Note Left By 'tWitch'
As previously reported, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss checked into a motel, located less than one mile from his L.A. home. The 40-year-old star had one small bag with him and had booked the room for one night.
Hotel staffers claim the beloved DJ and dancer did not appear to be in any sort of distress and, was not visibly upset when he checked in. When ‘tWitch’ missed checkout the next morning, hotel staffers went to check on him. That is when they found him dead in his hotel room.
Police officers stated that 'tWitch' left a suicide note in the motel room, though specific details of the note were not released.
Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Takes Uber To Motel
As previously reported, 'tWitch'’s wife of nine years, Allison Holker Boss, ran frantically into an LAPD station, informing them that her husband had left home without his car.
It was then reported that the reason his car was still at home was that the “So You Think You Can Dance” star took an Uber to the motel. No one could get in contact with 'tWitch' because he put his phone on airplane mode.
The cause of death was confirmed to be a gunshot wound to the head, by suicide.
