Sofia Vergara's Instagram followers were behind her all the way as a fan got "salty" while reacting to birthday girl swimsuit photos of the actress this summer. Sofia, 51, sizzled in a white bathing suit to ring in her birthday in July, sharing glam shots of her Italy vacation and also highlighting her sensational figure. Defying her age and looking jaw-dropping in white, the former ABC star flaunted her good looks and her sense of style, opening with a gorgeous snapshot of herself on the water. Sofia had stripped to a partly sheer, lacy one-piece that flattered her every curve, however the fan hating on her didn't seem in the mood to flatter her.

Sofia is proud of her Latina heritage, and it looks like her fans think she's got an advantage by virtue of it. "First and for most she's Colombian as we all know and gorgeous from head to toe. Colombian women always look fine into their late 40s&50s," one fan replied, then saying that obesity rates in the U.S. are higher than in Colombia.

Sofia is known for keeping fit and healthy, plus she's been avoiding the sun for a while!

“In the ’90s I read in a magazine that sun was the enemy for aging, so I started to try to consciously not tan on my face,” she revealed to Glamour.
