Andre Braugher, famous for his roles in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Homicide: Life on the Street, " passed away at 62.
The beloved actor reportedly died due to a health issue and is being mourned by his co-star, Terry Crews.

Braugher died on Monday after suffering a brief illness. The actor's family hasn't released details surrounding the circumstances of his passing.
Following the devastating news, Crews, who starred in the NBC sitcom alongside Braugher took to Instagram to mourn his on-screen precinct captain. "Can't believe you're gone so soon. I'm honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you, and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent," Crews began his tribute.
He continued, "This hurts. You left us too soon. You taught me so much. I will be forever grateful for the experience of knowing you. Thank you for your wisdom, your advice, your kindness, and your friendship."
A heartbroken Crews concluded his tribute by paying his "deepest condolences" to Braugher's family during the difficult time. "You showed me what a life well lived looks like. Rest In Peace, Andre. I love you, man. 😢."
Fans were deeply devastated by the news of Braugher's demise and paid their tributes in the comments section. "No!! No!! He was irreplaceable!! A genius. What a great loss," one follower penned.

According to Deadline, Braugher was survived by his wife Ami Brabson, who he met on the set of "Homicide: Life on the Street," and their three sons, Michael, Isaiah, and John Wesley. He also left behind his brother, Charles Jennings, and his mother Sally Braugher.
The late Captain Ray Holt actor rose to fame when he starred alongside Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington in "Glory." However, he received critical acclaim for his role as the ferocious Detective Frank Pembleton in "Homicide: Life on the Street."
For his exceptional performance, he earned an Emmy in 1998. His character as Captain Holt on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" then cemented him in the hearts of many.
