On the other hand, King Charles and Queen Camilla chose to use their coronation photo for their Christmas cards.

The Prince and Princess of Wales released their family's official 2023 Christmas card to an onslaught of criticisms from eagle-eyed fans. The photo quickly went viral on social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), with many pointing out a major photoshop fail on Prince Louis, the couple's youngest child.

Fans noticed Louis was missing the middle finger on his right hand, which rested on his sister Princess Charlotte's chair. Only the 5-year-old's index, ring, and pinky fingers were visible in the photo, although it's not clear whether he was hiding the finger or if it was really a Photoshop mishap.

One fan's tweet on the picture read, "Prince Louis' finger is missing, also they have photoshopped someone else's leg onto his. I certainly hope taxpayers didn't pay for it." Another wrote, "Louis is missing a finger; this has got to be the worst Photoshopped pic ever."

A third comment read, "While it's a nice family photo, as soon as I looked at it, I noticed Louis hand. He's missing a finger. That got me looking closer. His right leg looks swollen. Where's William's thigh? Where's Kate's other foot?"

Another person tweeted, "Are Prince William's children even real or are they fake? Why does Louis not have a finger and look at Louis' legs? Both legs don't look similar."

Prince William And His Family Always Look Stunning On Their Christmas Cards

Despite the attention on the Photoshop element, there was a lot of praise for the photo and the family's appearance.

All five members of William's family were dressed in matching white button-down shirts. William and Kate wore jeans, the boys wore chino shorts, and Princess Charlotte had on a denim playsuit with strawberries on it.

The previous family cards from the Prince and Princess of Wales were also beautiful and relaxed, just like the 2023 card, but they were a bit more colorful. Their 2018 card featured the beautiful royal family sitting on a tree trunk and smiling brightly in Anmer Hall, Norfolk.

The King And Queen Also Released Their Festive Card

King Charles and Queen Camilla have also released their official festive card and chose their coronation photo as the image. The card will be sent to select friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances of the Royal family.

The coronation photo shows the King and Queen in the Palace's throne room shortly after his coronation ceremony in May. It was photographed by Hugo Bernard and features the couple in full Royal regalia standing side by side. Charles is wearing the Imperial State crown while Camilla has on the Queen Mary's Crown.

The card is the second Christmas card since Charles' ascension late last year, after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. The first card featured a photo of him (while he was still Prince of Wales) and Camilla at Scotland's Braemar Games on September 3, which was five days before the late Queen's passing.

The release of the Christmas cards comes amid a new controversy over Omid Scobie's memoir on the Royal Family. A misprint of the book "Endgame" alleged that Princess Kate Middleton was one of the senior royals who commented about the possible skin color of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child, Prince Archie.

The book also named King Charles as another senior Royal who made "racist" comments about the unborn child. No one in the Royal family has publicly addressed the memoir and its claims. However, a source told The Telegraph that Charles plans to meet William to discuss the allegations and how they'll be handled.

They also claimed that legal action might be coming up against Scobie and possibly Harry and Meghan. The insider said, "Discussions are being had, and we'll continue those discussions this week. Conversations will be had, and decisions made with care and time and professionalism rather than rushed over a weekend."

On the other hand, Harry and Meghan seem to have distanced themselves from Scobie's book and have not made any comment regarding the bombshell allegations in the memoir. Scoobie has also asserted that he did not get any information from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
