Rapper 2 Chainz is on the mend after surviving a scary car accident and has been released from the hospital. 

The Hip Hop star, whose real name is Tauheed K. Epps, raised concerns about his well-being after he was rushed to the hospital following a car crash. Fortunately, the terrifying incident did not leave him with severe injuries, as he recently left the medical facility.

The drama began on Saturday when the "Bugatti" hitmaker shared a video of himself inside an ambulance being taken to the hospital to get checked out. He also dropped pictures from the crash scene, revealing the extensive damages from the collision.

Despite the problematic updates, the media personality barely spent his weekend at the hospital. He was discharged hours later thanks to the lack of significant injuries from the car crash, per sources, who confirmed he was "just a bit banged up" and recovering fine.

2 Chainz miraculously avoided severe damages from the accident while visiting Miami for the Art Basel event. According to insiders, the 46-year-old is glad to be out of the hospital and back home, where he is prioritizing his health.

Sources close to the rapper say he is resting before the holidays, a welcome change from the horrifying incident. In initial reports, the rapper was said to have suffered neck injuries and possibly other wounds following his admission to the hospital.

The Blast noted that he was reportedly driving on I-95 in Miami when a Tesla hit him from behind. In the video from the accident, 2 Chainz filmed himself on a stretcher in the back of an ambulance, revealing his foot in a cast and the damaged Tesla vehicle.

The accident came at the heels of the Hip-hop star's new album announcement, a joint project with the iconic rapper Lil Wayne. 2 Chainz dropped the good news while appearing on the Rap Radar podcast, telling listeners he initially planned on working with 50 Cent. In his words:

"I actually wrote these things for 50 to say. And I sent it to him because, first of all, 50 is somebody that has a voice I think people can recognize. Two – he's in the TV space, and three, I knew that when it was time to put out an album, I was going to do something to maybe f— people up to think maybe he was."

"I had this whole thing in my head about trailers and chaos and mayhem like, 'What the h— they got going on?' So I hit him, and he did it for me," he continued. "I mean, it didn't take long. He killed it on the first take as far as knowing how to breathe, the spaces. Just little stuff that us as creatives that I just wanted."

As for Lil Wayne, he showered his collaborator with praises, noting they made the perfect team. "The way me and 2 Chainz work is, it's like water. You know what I mean?" he claimed. "Just like water. It just flows. So it wasn't too much of a process other than getting songs cleared and stuff like that."

The pair have been dropping hits since the 2000s and continue to do a remarkable job of maintaining their relevancy and longevity in the ever-changing industry. The "Duffle Bag Boy" artist fondly remembered the duo's successes in an Instagram update, sharing their pictures alongside heartwarming praises.

2 Chainz stressed that he and Gucci have lasted over two decades, praising their continued fame in the music world. "Crowd still go crazy bout Toni !!! Me and @laflare1017 have longevity, and we are still a couple of the most consistent artists from the era ….TRU or FALSE," he captioned the post.

The media personality initially gained recognition as one-half of the Southern Hip-hop duo" Playaz Circle" before launching his solo career in 2011. After leaving his former group, he changed his stage name from Tity Boi to 2 Chainz. Meanwhile, his pal Gucci found stardom in 2005 with his debut studio album, "Trap House." Since then, he has released over 100 projects.
