Cardwell passed away after struggling with cancer. The 29-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January.
The cancer was discovered in Cardwell's liver, kidney, and lung after a series of tests following her complaints of stomach aches. The following month after her diagnosis, she underwent her first round of chemotherapy.
At the time, sources told TMZ that doctors were hopeful about Cardwell's condition and that they were waiting to see how she would react to the chemotherapy before moving forward with a decision. But things seemed dire when June took to social media to beg for prayers for her daughter.
