Emily Ratajkowski likely didn't expect to have her status as a mother challenged when she posed in a skimpy bikini and holding a coconut while enjoying a Rio de Janeiro beach earlier this year. Posting to Instagram to promote her Inamorata swimwear brand's collab with Mirroir Palais, the supermodel sizzled in a high-cut bathing suit as she posed for a photo, also featuring Mirroir Palais' founder, Marcelo Gaia. Stunning the camera with her long legs and killer curves, EmRata embraced the Brazilian beach culture as she modeled a bikini from the collab. While plenty of fans gushed over her, one comment probing her motherhood has exploded.

The London-born star got her backside all sandy as she soaked up the beach vibe, also posing with a fresh coconut and next to Marcelo, who wore printed yellow swim trunks. Smiling for the camera, Emily drove fans to swipe, where further images included more cute bikini looks from the collab, plus sports shorts and tops ones.

In a caption, EmRata wrote: "@inamoratawoman x @mirrorpalais is LIVE now on www.inamoratawoman.com. What a dream to collaborate on this collection with you, @marcelogaia ! Thank you for showing me ??." Fans have left the "Blurred Lines" star over 1.6 million like, but not all comments were supportive. One user referenced 2021-born son Sylvester, shared with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. "Who takes care of your kid?" they asked.

Emily regularly features her son on her social media, often sharing tender mommy-and-son snapshots showing the quality time she spends with her only child. Nonetheless, it seemed like fans were out to get her.

Over 40 fans have now jumped in to debate the question. Throwing shade, one user said: "If you're making millions it's not that hard to get a babysitter." Also hating the star as they trolled her was a fan saying: "I was asking myself the same question. Mommy needs to take a break from being a Mum, exploiting her body on social media, ya know?"

Fortunately for Emily, users jumped in to defend her. "I hope you’re asking all the male athletes on Instagram the same question," one user pointed out. "She is working. Do you take your kid to work? This is how she is showcasing her swimwear/clothing line. I'm sure there are plenty of personal pictures of her with her son that she chooses not to share (which is fair enough)," another replied.

Emily has since made headlines for debuting new merch from her 2017-founded Inamorata brand. On November 24, she offered fans 50% new designs from Inamorata for Black Friday.
